i truly think only tea is my absolute favorite song i’ve heard in quite some time. especially after seeing it on stage and how gatsby is utterly freaking out the entire time while all the servants are going to the 9’s, 10/10 song

I saw the 3rd preview of Gatsby on broadway, and they go rid of sophisticated and replaced with another song called absolute rose. I was so saddddd, I like sophisticated better that absolute.

@@alternico Another downside to change the primary perspective of the show (from Nick to Gatsby respectively). Although, as its own entity it seems quite promising, as an adaptation, I feel like it misses the whole point of the novel...

Until a white man is cast as Porgy diversity is a one way street and a fraud. Last year a dozen leading ladies were women of color or even men of color. Gatsby is my favorite novel. I was hoping that just once awl white actress would be given the role.
