IN 22:0 Blair talks about how girls have some niche historical events that they're obsessed with and I thought I'd like to share mine and my friend's FAVORITE event. It's the Islamic revolution in Iran in the 70's and all the consequences it had on the middle east as a whole. the way this event CHANGED the MENA area forever is crazy, especially that we we're Iraqis and our parents tell us about how in their youth no one was religious and everyone wore short skirts and short hair for girl and long afros and bell bottom jeans for guys, so we would think "well when did it ever go wrong? how did all of that change?" and trust me the answer is always the islamic revolution. the way we have spent HOURS upon hours analyzing the political scene of the middle east in the lens of the revolution!!!

I'm not an expert but the science behind molasses making alcohol dummed down is basically, to make alcohol: yeast eats sugar, which makes alcohol and carbon dioxide as a byproduct. So the molasses would likely just serve as the sugar in this case, where for wine/champagne the sugar source is grapes, and so on. Again, not an expert, but I think the difference in flavors of alcohols essentially comes from the sugar source.
