The colorful chickens are dyed by giving them a bath mixed with animal safe dyes. This is often done with Silkies for Easter. It’s super safe and when they molt they return to their original white color!

I’ve been on the Zero Shock attraction at a carnival I went to few months back and I’ll admit when I saw the Height I was a Bit scared and hesitant to go but I told myself that I’ve seen people Do this before and I can do it. So after 2 Big steps I Jumped and Quickly Brought my Knees together to become a Human Cannonball and it was over. Probably my favorite attraction I’ve ever did in a Fair/Carnival Oh and also: QUALITY THUMBNAIL!

It’s awesome when you get that person in your life that helps push you past your fears happy for you guys :)

Yay! It's always great to see Jen along for the ride. So to speak. So, the Kansas State Fair starts this weekend, & runs for 10 days, so it'll still be up & running next weekend. You should visit it. Also, while you're in the area, you should visit World's of Fun, one of the Cedar Fair parks.

Always more fun to go somewhere with a friend! You should give your viewers a heads-up when you plan on going someplace and have a meet-up there. Although, that could be the basis for a creepy murder mystery. 😳 😬

I have almost as much fun reading the comments as I do while watching the vlogs! Okay, folks, here is something my mother taught me about the times when someone drags you on a ride and after it starts up, you find you hate it (case in point: the Ferris wheel.) If the ride has a repetitive scary part, inhale when it isn't that scary yet (many times it's the way up), then exhale on the way down. Focus on this pattern, and you'll be able to hold it together until the ride is over. When it comes to rides with random motion, such as the Zipper, sorry, can't help you. Guess you just have to power through those. Finally, a question: I've always felt that monstrously huge Ferris wheels are less scary than the smaller ones because the movement is spread out over a larger space. What do y'all think?

If you happen to visit again, upstairs in the "Empire Room", the Circus Model Builders have a large display of models and posters. Also, at the rear of the fairgrounds there is an antique train exhibit where you can walk through restored train cars. Not many people visit these, and I thought you'd like to know.

The fact you actually jumped was great. Pretty sure that everyone would have been cheering you on I sure was.The only best way to face your fears is to take them head on and plus Jacob you had Jen with you to puch you just a little. Awesome stuff!

I went to the new your state fair on Monday. The second day of the fair. I been to alot of NY Fairs. Im In upstate NY. Tid bid of info after the new york state fair. There the Fonda FAir fair and then Schaghticoke Fair which both go on the same time in two different locations. There is a ride called the Igloo its a scramber inside a igloo at six flags. NY

Here's an explanation of the 'colored' chickens for ya (I think). Sometimes (usually around Easter) farms will inject dyes into eggs before the chickens hatch. This dye will seep into the chick's feathers and the chicks will come out with feathers of different colors. Once they lose their birth feathers and grow new ones, the color goes away.

I used to live in Syracuse so I went to the Great NYS Fair Every year. Some of rides I didn't go on.

I always loved those chickens with the feathers that look like long hair, the ones with the feathery feet are cool too.

Damn would have so great to see/meet you. Unfortunately, the NYS fair is nothing like it used to be since they took down the Grandstand and took out the track and all the old restaurants.
