John Fredericks was a student teacher at my middle school for music!

2023 and I still have this song in my music playlist. It will always be my #1 favorite song of all time.

I legit believe that if this song was performed by any other mainstream rock band, it would be a smash hit.

This song always spoke to me so deeply, different from the others on the soundtrack. This is the only song I’ve listened to consistently since I first heard it. Thank you Jon Frederik Band and thank you Yugioh

I have most if not all of the old Yu-Gi-Oh! and Pokémon sound tracks. These cartoons and games were my entire childhood, especially because all 4 of my siblings let me play with them even when I couldn't read and they had to read me my card every turn. They were so patient with me.

Oh my god I remember singing this as a kid. I feel like I owe my closeness to rock music in part to the TV I watched when I as young. Not that this song is particularly heavy or anything. Really good stuff, though. :)
