Now, this was something I was planning to put out over the summer, I was foolish to underestimate the great yapping power of Daxter. So how about it huh?! A new year is among us, what better way to celebrate than with an otsel screaming in your ear!
After all of this guy's endless trash talk, I think the next quote video will star a more humble and disciplined character.....I know just who :]

@@oathkeeperkingdom4909 nah he's still alive, Max Casella is his name, interestingly Daxter is the last and only voice work he's done (outside of an NPC in one of the GTA games) he's still acting though, as recently as last year

Fun fact: The cutscene at 9:45 is slightly different in the PAL version of the game, where instead of saying "old guy fiber", he says something along the lines of "that feminine hygiene product we shall not speak of". No idea why they changed it.

Daxter is my personal favorite video game companion/sidekick. If it weren't for his commentary/jokes in the 1st game I probably wouldn't have enjoyed playing it since Jak didn't talk. His spin off game actually shows that he is capable of being a hero in his own right and a comic relief character can have dramatic moments. In the 2nd game we actually got to see his and Jak's relationship develop and we actually see why they are such good friends/heroic duo. And the 3rd game brought their friendship to the test when Daxter stood by Jak when no one else would and he got his happy ending getting his glory, girl, and pants. Oh, and let's just all agree that the last 2 games aren't relevant to their story.

Hell yes. He spent two years looking for building up influence, killing metalheads, and snooping around to find and save Jak. Now that's a ride or die sidekick.

Yeah, this game never really did have its own identity. They tried so hard to go with what was popular at the time for all 3 games. The third one had the most originality, in my opinion.

@@2breborn247 Probably because Jak 1 was more comedic, so whenever he made jokes in the sequels (and because they had to update the graphics each time) Daxter felt both restricted and out of place. I think the best way to describe his Jack 1 Model is, he's very "Crash-like" in his expressions and animations. I mean, just take a look at the Naughty Dog Logo sequence in that game. So much personality and attitude.
