Yeah he was, excluding Doctor Destiny, the White Martians, Joker, Galatea and LexBraniac maybe.

Dark Claw he was one of the few villains to almost destroy the league. Great villain, but criminally underutilized, especially in Unlimited.

MrAlexB59 Very true. I saw that Grodd "easter egg" on the TV show. I think it's great. Hopefully, he will be on the show at some point in the future. If Season 1 does well then it might happen.

JazzyZenBrotha DC's youtube channel posted a clip from an interview with the cast member's. They hinted that Grodd may play an important role in season 1 :)

Hero What do you mean flash doesn't have good villains? Flash has arguably one of the best rogues galleries in comics period. Don't let the cheesy names, like Captain Cold or Mirror Master fool you. They are extremely well written.

Oh most definitely. In the JL/JLU Grodd is the superior leader as he’s more of a forward thinker; getting supervillains to not only work together, but also “trust” each other so that they got their backs (for 25% of the gross). Lex can be a great manipulator, he suffers from tunnel vision (whether it be to destroy Superman or recreating Brainiac so that they can become one once again), whilst Grodd is more of a big picture charismatic leader, whose main hiccups was to transform humanity into apes (and also letting Luthor join the team)

Androo Gnoix 99% of marvel and dc characters are "silly" in concepts (some of them were created in the 50s) but that doesn't mean they can't work fine if properly written

How is he silly in concept. Apes share our DNA to a great deal. There is a great deal of evidence that suggest we evolved from apes grodd is a quasi genius with a messianic personality complex. It's really hard to say if he is a villain or a hero think about it.
