Him pretending not to see the crocodile to spend more time with her is so irresponsible but also so sweet - in other words the most ‘Peter’ thing he could’ve done :)
I'm pretty sure it is very loosely based around history, i don't believe peter was ever under house arrest, at least not at the winter palace or whichever palace this is based in, but i may be wrong :)
I don’t have Hulu so I have only seen the show through these clips. ( Thank you for them!!) Why did Peter pretend that he didn’t see the alligator? To spend more time with Catherine?
Well the whole show is supposed to be a comedic spoof of Catherine's reign. She doesn't really kill the Ottoman sultan irl but it was entertaining to see in the show.
for real. its funny when i thought hes a total dumb in season 1 but hes actually quite smart w his strategies in season 2. wonder what will these two will come out w their strategies in season 3 👀
@@moondust7027 is it a character development? Haven't had time to watch fully, tbh. Is it b/c finally someone slaps Peter of the reality of what is happening around him? The amount of studying he did during his imprisonment? Being a father who loves his wife? Or he's just smart all along?
@@dolce.luna08 I think the tv show hinted on him being heavily traumatized and growing up in very abusive enviroment. He never knew better way to behave than as we seen him in season 1. Also in season 1 we seen him in his enviroment, surounded by his subjects. No reason for him to use his brains among 'allies', because everybody would just praise him and he'd hence not improve in anything. Catherine changed all of this by challenging him constantly etc, by making it difficult for him. Slowly Peter's potential started to emerge, while before it got wasted.
The hands he put his hand to her to take it and she put hers under so he Could be the one take it i think is trying to say that she wan to be the lead not follow him so in a way she is doing what he tell her but in her own way
