So the meteor not onyl caused a cataclysm but also brought a new substance to the planet for people to experiment with? Why does this sound so familiar with a certain PiranhaBytes game I really like?
It was actually said that the Jormungandrs built the hammar out of a strain of draconite themselves in the most recent Jormungandr event lore from a year ago. So maybe the way horkos got huldas support was by promising her to get their hammar back from daubeny. Since the hammar is pretty much a religious artifact for them.
I don't recall any lore that said that the Jorms built it themselves. Only a lore bit that rumors said it was likely made from draconite. I usually collect them all. Also seems very unlikely that the Jorms are smart enough to do alchemy. If you have that lore order somewhere please show me if you can please as it would be a somewhat major thing
An excellent video! I would lean on the side that the snake is an ancient creature, given that the Jormungandr cult worships the beast as their god. Plus it might not be the only one of its kind, since in the map of Storr Stronghold, we see a giant snake skeleton in the third area, implying that they are an ancient breed of snakes, and perhaps this one in particular is worshipped by the Jormungandr cult. I don't believe Horkos directly tried to experiment on it with Draconite, as that wouldn't explain the skeleton in Storr Stronghold, nor would it explain why the Jormungandr worship the beast, and have been for supposedly a long period of time. That said, it would stand to reason that perhaps the cataclym itself might have led to the creation of this particular snake breed. Or perhaps it unearthed and ancient creature that slept dormant. After all, the Harbinger year kept saying 'new signs of a Cataclysm are appearing,' perhaps one of those signs was the emergence of ancient creatures like this giant snake.
The Snake Skeleton of Storr Stronghold is confirmed to be a fake decoration built from whale bones by the Jormungandr cultists. That is why I believe the living creature is a unique animal. But I do like the idea too of it being ancient.
@@Archivist_Eris tbh I wouldn't be surprised if the myth of Jorogomu was literal since draconite is apparently the catchall explanation for everything weird in the FH universe 😂
@@spicysalad3013 I don't think Jorogumo would have existed as the Woman/Spider hybrid. Especially since it would have been an experiment and not a natural accident. I think it might have been a normal spider affected by Draconite which ended up infecting, hunting and killing people. Meiko might have been a Kensei who hunted the Spider but got infected too while fighting it and then died to something similar to corruption
