I was watching Corpse’s stream, and it didn’t even cross my mind that Toast could be jester. Even when he voted himself, my first thought was, “Awww, he’s being nice and letting Hafu have the win.” This might be one of the best played games Toast has ever had. I was fooled and I wasn’t even a part of the game.

Hafu repeatedly saying "That was so cool!" is so wholesome to me. The fact that she was more impressed at Toast's play than the fact that she lost. Also, can we just take a moment to appreciate how absolutely evil Toast's "Oh, Hafu, what do you think I'm doing?" line sounds? It legitimately sounds like a villain reveal.

hafu was such a good sport at the end. instead of being mad or disappointed about losing she complimented toast and said how cool he was. i’ve seen many youtubers and streamers get pissed about stuff like this. this is why hafu is such a fun player

I mentioned this in another video, but the win conditions here are interesting to think about, especially contrasting what they each believe it is. Ash needs Hafu voted out, Hafu needs Ash voted out OR a tie, Toast needs himself voted out. Ash doesn't know for sure who needs to be voted out, but most likely can't be convinced to vote Toast. Hafu thinks either person being voted out is fine. Toast is the only one with complete information here and thus the only one with a set vote that will always match his own self interest. There will never be a better result than voting for himself. So, assuming no one deliberately throws, Ash has no path to victory. The only potential winners are Toast or Hafu. Hafu actually can't win a vote, but she can actually tie it, which at least gives her a shot at victory. Hafu in this case is the one controlling who wins or loses, but with her incomplete information - she seems to have forgotten about the existence of the jester entirely judging by her taking a moment to understand what just happened - she gets tricked into voting against her own self interest. If Toast hadn't cleared Ash, Hafu would have kept trying to sway him and voted Ash, resulting in a tie, resulting in Hafu victory. It's just a very interesting little mind game based on information inequality. It's also interesting to watch the overlapping goals between the three parties. Crew only wants imposter voted out, imposter only wants crew voted out, Jester wants to be voted out and having one imposter voted out is helpful as well. So it's like Toast is having to play both imposter and crew at the same time to get to the point where he can actually win. He needs to save the game on five and six, but also try not to be cleared too hard by doing so. On a different note, it's also neat watching him learn from the last jester game he posted where he overacted and outed himself. Here you can see him doing slightly sus things all game but nothing you could really call him out on.

Rewatching some Among Us content and this is my favorite gameplay by Toast. Not only the players were fooled but also the viewers. Didn't expected this when I was watching it live at Rae's stream. Very big brain play by Toast as Corpse would say.
