@@TheHouseBowling I meant my comment in a good way, not In a bad way. I love, love, love my hammers. Like love them to the point where I have all of them drilled different, from weak to super strong. I honestly can't remember the last time I threw reactive, and I have good reactive balls, i.e Hellcat, DGV, Frequency, Pitbull Bark, Hellraiser Blaze, Hellraiser Return, Medusa. I'm kind of a DV8 nerd, and love my balls but all of my highest scores has came during league when I used my purple hammers.

Yeah lol I see a lot of purple hammers in Maine, I wouldn't be surprised to see a full arsenal of 6 using purple reactive and purple original haha 😅

This is a purple hammer solid reactive think it's a mix of urethane and reactive material. Same core tho

@@chadrupert4456 I know there's 3 purple hammers 2 urethane and one reactive and he's this reviews about the reactive not the urethane and I have just bought the reactive because I threw it 5 times and got 5 strikes and fell in love. Think I'm gonna get it drilled with the pin about an inch or an inch and a quarter above the ring finger. The Hammer Ocean Vibe me and my buddy shares pin is like 3 inches up and to the right of the ring finger and it had ridiculous hook and flare on it and since the Purple reacrives meant for medium to heavy oil I don't want to make the ball super aggressive it's already good and the one I threw had the pin just above the ring finger about an inch so I think that's what I'm going to go with but Hammer is confusing they have 2 urethane purple hammers an overseas one and a normal one I don't get what the difference is between the 2

Is your league a sport pattern or house? I just got a purple hammer, and alot of the bowlers at my lanes talk crap about guys using urethane.

​ @The House Bowling -- Thank you! I know you must get bombarded with people with the same question of "LAYOUT????" as with most bowling videos. I think everyone understands for the most part that layouts are subjective to the bowling style and #s for that bowler, but there is just so little info out there for 2 handers and PSOs that are willing to deviate from the standard chart layouts from 2LS for example that we look to content creators like you for this info so we can have different starting points for ourselves when working with PSOs. Any info you are willing to share like this in the details section of your videos on ball reviews, or just as like a notation on the screen would go such a long way to the growing 2 hand community. Thanks!!!!!

The speed on TV is recorded off the hand, not down lane like at most centers. The difference is around 3-4 mph faster off the hand.

I throw it around 16-17 the pros speed is based off of the hand not the down lane monitor that you see, so most pros probably throw it about the same speed as you!

You still throw it faster than I. You might match up with a weak resin like the gold/red/black rhino or urethane. What do you have already

@@coopergates9680 Have a nova, gb4 pearl, and an all road + my spare ball. Love my nova and gb4 pearl. Have them both drilled so they can be smooth and with a slight hand change I can make them snap. Looking for a 4th ball but dont know what to get. I mainly bowl on the house shot and will be doing highschool bowling soon. Ik you dont need alot for a house shot but I was thinking of a phase II, track stealth (shine it up a bit), or a ufo alert.

Yea this purple hammer reactive is a great piece for a league bowler especially one just starting up!

I know I'm not packy, but you don't wanna buy a ball just because you over hook the ball. You would want to learn the proper technique before buying a ~200$ ball

Depends what you practice. If you are practicing your release, form or approach. One lane is fine. If you happen to practice on a day where they oiled the lanes, take two, practice your shot and try to score high. Changes balls when the lane transition starts. That's my personal opinion.
