Everyone's probably shocked at how Zero, having been retired for 10 months now, was able to beat Fatality, the supposed best falcon player in the world right now, and beat him very solidly. It is quite astonishing. The same thing happened in MLG 2003 i believe was the year. The #3 best melee player in the world, Azen, had been retired for about 6 months to a year. Having not been playing almost completely (only touched the game very few times during the retirement. [his bestfriend confirmed this since they were together virtually all the time.]) Then returns to play MLG melee 2003 having only practiced for 2 weeks prior to it he proceeded to outplay and finally beat his long existing rival, Ken, who he had been unable to defeat since Ken's first arrival to the smash scene (having only beat him once during their first tournament together, but then Ken came back from losers and beats him in the grandfinals.) Azen's bestfriend also commented about this saying "taking a break from melee seemed to have cleared his mind and he came back better." lol ironic right? But this is essentially how things go, when one takes a break from consistently working for years or months and they take vacation to relax, to bring themselves peace, relieve stress, and to give their mind, body, and soul a break from all the work. They will come back refreshed, rejuvenated, and recharged to work better than before! So it makes sense. Even though smash bros is a game the top players are basically always working to be the best and win. Thats a lot of work. Hard workers no matter what you do need a break every once in a while to let their body, mind and soul recuperate and recover so they can come back and do more with it. So if you've been working really hard for a while now and are still looking to get better at smash or a certain skill or proffesion than maybe its time for a vacation xD
