I agree, I actually extend the list. 2003 to the halfway point of 2013 minus 2004 and 2011. This was the best time for F1, that's 2 1/2 boring seasons out of 11. and to counter the "rose coloured glasses" effect, I've watched F1 since 1981 and was already over 30 in 2003.
😂😂😂😂no goat 😂😂😂😂😂😂 One driver already has more of that than him ;) And also he purposely crashed into Bruno senna to show how washed he was 😂😂😂and got penalised 😂😂😂
I dunno ,watching kimi vs everyone else driving a complete shitbox of a car in a shitbox will be my enduring memory. Watching him take the scalps of the big three front teams with what had to be a slightly naughty tune in that car...
Just watched the whole video, thinking it was well made, looking down at the channel, it took me a while to realize that there where only 1.3k subs and not 130k. This video alone deserves that amount of subs, damn i hope this channel will blow up!
There's a thing in F1 where a villain can become an underdog hero after a few bad seasons or a comeback. Former villian, Michael Schumacher was in his last season of his comeback in 2012 and in full underdog mode, we all wished he could have won a race...Seb, 2 times champion, about to be 3 times, was in villian mode, 2013 was full villian mode ( I was still a fan, but had to defend myself) by 2020 he was in full underdog hero mode and now we all miss him...Alonso was starting to hit underdog mode, getting so close to that 3rd championship for the 3rd time...he was the villain of 2007, he's an absolute underdog hero right now in 2023, at 42, 3rd in the championship, getting podiums after a dry spell at McLaren and a break from f1 where he tried Indy a couple times and won LeMans twice...
and now aston have completely fked him up with barely any developments over the season. And Lawrence Stroll wants a knighthood for turning Aston around🤣
For me Alonso is forever the villain. It's hard to believe that his appearance in crash gate, spy gate and even the Piastri controversy were mere coincidences, especially when you see him still in this season securing Q3 participation twice by using the run off area or making a completely silly spin causing yellows on the hot lapping cars that would clearly push him out. Both were way too obvious and just plain rotten if you ask me. Remember that his only championships came from the team with illegal software aids and the deported team principal.
Back in 2012, I was 14 yo and I was convinced the Apocalypse would occur on Christmas. Watching my hero clinging to the fight for the championship until the very last in such an astonishing season was to me a signal to the end. The lasg Formula 1 season until the end of mankind had to be the greatest one.
The video was great!! 🤩🤩 Just two small things: You put a france flag for monaco gp (ok, who cares?). But Confusing south korea with north korea flag is dangerous 😂
It wasnt really that bad. It was the most consistent car, Mclaren were fastest but blew up every race and RB with second fastest also had many technical problems. Over the whole season Alonso had one .
This season showed why Vettel is the BEST driver since Senna. In Abu Dhabi, Vettel came thru the field TWICE to finish third. Even after the updates, Red Bull was still one of the slowest car in the straight line speed. Alonso lost his second title despite having the best and the fastest car (the first was when he drove in McLaren along Hamilton). He's one of the most overrated drivers in history, a sore winner, and cheater (crashgate). During the season, Webber was actively working against Vettel to help Alonso.
i don't know if anyone noticed but he used the France flag instead of the Monaco flag, before anyone says anything, the Monaco flag was adopted on April 4th of 1881. just thought i'd point this out.
Lots of people expected Jenson to be the McLaren lead. He was consistently smarter than Hamilton on track and beat him over their tenure together as teammates
Listening to someone calling 2012 the greatest season ever, in a time like this, gives me a glimmer of hope that the formula 1 community might grow in terms of maturity
Love these videos Did you know that after pastor Maldonado won that race on frank Williams' birthday.... his race car caught fire before scrutinizing could be done
Maldonado in a nutshell. He would have so many awful races, crashing and taking out many rivals and at times just ran others off the road. But once in a while like barcelona 2012 he would produce and absolute masterclass dragging that williams to the win. He would have had more podiums but this was Maldonado so he himself crashed out of potential podium finishes by his own fault like Valencia.
2010 is more exciting. 2012 just seem more exciting cause of 7 winners in 7 race(and pastor) 2010 is more exciting because you do not know who will be the leading the championship before each race has ended.
