The Greatest Game of Mario Hide And Seek ever played 

Smant, Mars, and Crafty were playing hide and seek, while Fir was playing gaslight your friends.

They didn't suspect a thing

So to summarize: * Smant pulls off a ridiculous jump * Mars finds him within the first 10 seconds * Smant pulls off a ridiculous escape undetected by waiting until Mars died to the boss * Smant tricks Mars into hunting someone else so he can pull off another ridiculous jump to the top of moon cave * Fir disguises as Mars * Smant randomly guesses exactly where Fir is hiding during the first hints * Crafty sees the real Mars but somehow thinks it's Fir in disguise * Thanks to a perfectly timed gathering with Mars, Crafty is gaslit into believing Fir isn't disguised * Mars spots Smant and starts attempting the jump up, while Smant tries to escape * Crafty finally spots Fir and learned of his disguise, but Fir gets away and disguises as Smant instead * Smant accidentally enters the boss fight, and finishes it all while Mars is staring at a wall trying the jump * Crafty chases Fir through moon cave, thinking it's Smant * Fir hides in moon cave, and Smant tells them he's in the overworld, causing Mars to stop chasing Fir * Then begins several minutes of Smant and Fir cooperatively gaslighting the chasers as Fir runs away * The only time the chasers ask for a hint during this sequence, Smant and Fir happen to be in the exact same quadrant, so they can keep gaslighting That was the wackiest series of coincidences and lucky breaks I've ever seen in this game.

I'm always surprised by Smant's and Fir's nonverbal communication. They come up with the same dumb stuff and I love it.

Ant's spot getting found within 10 seconds of the match starting was really funny

Fir's costume shenanigans made this 1000 times better than it aleady was. (Also Smant jumping in on it) Perfect harmony between the two of them.

Fir and Smant's teamwork is brilliant. They both knew exactly what eachother was doing and went, "Oo me too!" Hardest I've laughed in a while.

The use of the Doopliss theme at 10:48 is super appropriate for the mastermind reveal that Smallant was not in fact the one running that whole time. It's a great doppelganger reveal theme. Hilarious to watch.

I always love in Hide & Seek, how Smant & Fir always feel like they each have a gun constantly pointed at the other person's head, but choose not to pull the trigger, solely because they both enjoy what the other person does.

seeing this one live was an absolute treat but watching it cut up with all the perspectives is just magical.

I'm new to this SMO Hide and Seek universe and Fir has become my favorite over the videos I've watched so far, but seeing his absolutely savage joy at 9:57 sealed the deal

I was thinking the title would be just clickbait, but I was wrong. I laughed so much during this, I'm going to watch it a second time! And I never do that! Like seriously, this video was so much fun from beginning to end, I can't compliment it enough! I don't think it will ever be topped, it's by far the funniest round I've ever seen! This round was legendary, I caught it live. Smant hyping up his spot for the first few rounds then getting spotted immediately, somehow escaping, and fighting Madam Broodal with Mars in the background, then the endless costume gaslighting by Fir was just ... marvellous I went through and watched all the VODs, it took me a few hours but it was so, so, worth it xD

Holy shit the amount of gaslighting that went on this episode was truly legendary.

Man, this one was SO good. The quality of all of the hiding spots, the immense technical skill of the hiders was already apparent from the get-go but all of the moments in this one were insane. - Mars finding Ant's first spot IMMEDIATELY, despite it being an incredibly well-hidden spot with an extremely difficult set-up - Ant getting stuck in the Madame Broode fight and somehow not getting caught, despite Mars being right behind Ant throughout the whole fight. - Fir disguising himself with Mars' and Ant's costumes and proceeding to gaslight Crafty into thinking he was not him - Ant playing off of Fir's subterfuge by acting as if he "was" in Fir's position, including the perfect alignment of both Fir and Ant's position and the timing of the hint It may have just been among four players but the quality and memorability of this match ranks among some of the best Odyssey content, dare I say, ever

My real question is how do Smant and Fir stand upright when they're carrying those *massive* brains around?

I loved the doopliss theme at 11:00. It was almost amazing that you played it during the chase since the boss's theme is he takes other peoples' appearances as his own and mimics them.

Tonight on Normal Mario Iliad Seek and Hide: Smallant clips through the same wall twice, Mars is totally oblivious to the boss fight happening right behind her, Craftyboss slowly goes insane over clothing, and Fir shows off his Ph.D. in gaslighting virtual Italian plumbers

So the balance of hide and seek matches balance themselves because 80%of the time Fir and Smant are natural counters to each other. This is what happens when that is not the case at all.

Props to anyone else who noticed the music played during the reveal at 10:48 that Fir was dressed as Smant is Doopliss the dopplegangers theme from Paper Mario TTYD. It was the perfect theme for this.
