Man, Troy Polamalu was a beast. Probably the greatest safety of all time.. it's either him or Ed Reed. Troy was great every scenario. He had no weakness. He made hits like a linebacker and disrupted passes like a cornernack.. he was basically an extra corner and linebacker all in one lol.
@@treyhunchoo2424 Dang School Threat Revis Island was a corner back. Learn your facts anyways PrimeTime a better corner all time I’ll give revis a better prime even tho 49ers Deion was his best year and I think it clears Darrell.
Come on now, Dan Hampton claims the '85 Bears would have won 4 Super Bowls if Jay Cutler was their QB lol. Jay Cutler wouldn't have lasted 2 weeks in that era. He had to leave the 2010 NFC championship game with a hangnail and never returned as he watched his team lose by 7 from the bench.
Darren Sharper is so amazing. Most of his victims never even saw him coming. He’d always find away and always wanted to score and get it in no matter what.
@@siphonzyno7378 Not a chance. If I'm building a defense from all players from any time my first choice would be Troy Polamalu. He changes the way you play defense. The only one I might consider ahead of him is Deion Sanders. Polamalu could play 10 positions on defense. Everything except nose tackle.
@@rjthelion6239 A db is a defensive back, that position either is know as a Linebacker or a cornerback. A safety is a secondary, that position is in the backfield 😂
Palumalu’s interception in the snow is still the most amazing CATCH I’ve ever seen in my life. Let alone interception Seriously that catch SHITS all over Beckham’s catch any day. The amount of difficulty in that catch is unheard of
My list of Top 5 Interceptions of all time: 5. A.J. Duhe's 3rd Interception (a pick 6) to seal the 1982 AFC Championship for Miami 4. Mike Davis trapping Brian Sipe in the 1980 AFC Divisional round, throwing a pick with under 2 minutes to go (The Mistake by the Lake) 3. Tracy Porter's Interception of Peyton to give the Saints their 1st ever SB victory 2. James Harrison's coast to coast Interception return in SB 43 just before halftime 1. Malcolm Butler's pick in SB 49 to give the Patriots their 5th (which was mentioned in this video)
Most people might not get this reference, but it’s from a remix of the Super Bowl Shuffle on a TV show about Fantasy Football. It’s called The League and the remix is called the Shiva Bowl shuffle if u want to watch!
@@Simp-mania I used to know of some evidence but ended up forgetting I will need to try and dig it back up and if I can’t that means either he didn’t cheat or he covered his tracks well.

Listen for Brent Grimes. He has about 6 or 7 of these. Seemed like he was always being named. Played for a lot of teams too. Guys vertical leap was insane

Darrell Hawkins u make it sound like it was a lose lose situation because the patriots obviously had the right play if they were to pass it which they did
I am very pleased that you put all the polamalu ones together and in the beginning because those were the most insane and body contorting interceptions ever made
8:11 "That's gonna make a highlight reel." I bet he never would've dreamed that thirty years later millions of people would be watching that highlight reel on their laptops and phones.
9:26 Nice hit to knock the ball out and the catch afterwards, but if let it drop after the hit they have better field position. Heat of the moment though you’re going all out to make a play, still awesome.
you did great, you had Jason Sehorn's pick that was incredible and in the playoffs. Also Polamalu's amazing INTs. WIsh you had some Darrell Green and Deion Sanders picks though. Those guys are legends. Champ Bailey had some good ones as well.
The Chicago Bears made in interception very close to the sidelines (millimeters close) in which the TV cameras got the perfect angle on a Monday Night game. One of the first where the camera angle showed the player keeping it off the ground while also staying in bounds. During the 1980's, because it was pre-review NFL days.
Haha yep, good call, cost them 17 yards of field position and with only a 10-6 lead in the 4th quarter it could have been important. Plus they would have started in FG range. The Bucs still ended up with a FG on that drive and they went on to win 20-6. That was their Super Bowl year when their D was insane.
Well I think he was just "tying" a lose end by picking it cause he was in man to man coverage against a wr and by picking it himself removed any possibility of that WR from catching the ball
That is what a highlight compilation should be like. 40 minutes of plays, one right after the other. BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! Not some geek talking for the first 2 minutes. Good job, SBS!
Thanks for putting this together. You may have missed one of the top 20 of all-time and it sealed a Giants' playoff win: R.W McQuarters against Tampa Bay. An amazing catch and toe-tap at a key moment has much more merit than a few of these of guys just grabbing a deflection.
I never get tired of watching Rivers throw picks. The only time its better is when he's pile-driven into the turf in the process and the pick ends putting six on the opponent's board.
@26:10 not only is this Peanut Tillman intercepting Randy Moss in the endzone, but it's Tillman's rookie season and this play literally helped spoil the Viking's playoff contention.
Man it's not even football season yet but this is pumping me up already god dammit it's a lot of places I haven't seen before these dudes I'm catching this on a Sunday morning too and it's not in football season Bratayley RU-vid is great that the man I love the same watch anything
The simultaneous catch Panthers Bucs reminds you of the Packers Seahawks NFC Championship game and the rule states at that time tied catch goes to the offense
