I played this game when I was like 3-4 years old it’s one of my first memories including the ps1 Harry Potter game, I usually watch josh’s speed runs here on RU-vid not just cus of the amazing skill but also cus of his personality he is such a good and nice guy and that really draws me in at least, also great video and thank you!

I remember being in Headstrong's stream when they discovered the idle deload. It was the weirdest thing, Headstrong was just practicing pause buffers and suddenly the world around them disappeared.

ThaRixer was one of the Guys that really introduced me early on to his twitch channel, and I gotta say, its been a great time getting to know Josh! He's a great streamer, and I think its really cool that the Jak Community, and really, the speedrunning community as a whole, is able to work together and promote their craft. What a great video. I'm not too big into speedrunning, but I can appreciate the difficulty and the sheer determination it takes for people to complete any kind of speedrun. With my favorite game series of all time, nothing can ever beat it and nothing ever will, seeing the world record being beaten was something that made me cry. Congrats on the times josh. This is my favorite childhood game. I've spent literal thousands of hours at least in this game, finished it more times than I can count. And yet, pretty much every single movement he makes when playing feels almost alien because of how perfectly executed they are. He's truly the king of this game

The first time I beat Jake and daxter 100% ( a few months ago ) my first thought was lemme look up the 100% wr to see how fast it could be done and I was absolutely blown away by Josh's time its awesome to see the history laid out like this you should definitely do more vids like this

another big game that had a similar story to this one, where one guy conquered it was one of the original ninja gaiden games, and the only reason i know that is because this same dude also held a record for the irl speedrun of making a burrito the fastest.

I remember when you used to do Let's Plays. My favorite one was Sly 3 because of the Master Thief Challenges. I would listen to the music as those were real bops. I would restart the video every time the music ended, just so I could keep listening to it.
