I'm so glad this speedrun finally happened. It brings a tear to my eye.

As a terrible artist with a great ideas, this whole run I imagined a piece of grass hiding behind a rock, sweat dripping down it's stalk, and the knight in the background having those red glowing eyes lol

I love how much you lean into the meme runs. You didn't just cut the grass, you helped us understand the grass and unraveled quantum mysteries about the grass. It's a transformative experience and my lawn will never be the same again.

I can't believe someone spent time on modding this. I can't believe someone decided to play this goofy idea out. I can't believe I'm enjoying every second of this.

It's interesting going back to older Skurry videos like there since their tone is totally different. You can tell that over time they've learned to be more upbeat and energetic with their delivery of pretty much everything. It's a skill you don't really notice or appreciate much.

Skurry never fails to amaze me with what kind of insane runs they pull off. This truly is the greatest meme run done yet.

I actually had this thought yesterday while fighting the watcher knights on my 6th play through: “wouldn’t it be funny if someone cut all of the grass in Hallownest?” I have to start being careful for what I wish for.

In this timeline, the Pale King was too lazy to mow grass, so he had children do it for him. A.k.a. Child Labor. My favorite.

hey skurry this is will smith from team cherry we have noticed the interest in grass recently and we are happy to announce that silksong is going to have 16x the grass, 4x more grassy areas , brand new grass rendering, shading, and lighting, and it will allow you to see distant weather systems to make the grass more realistic, it will just work

I think I may know why the grass on the way to monarch room is weird, because the last 2 pieces of grass are swapped out once you get monarch wings for a version that isnt blowing in the wind. So 2 are probably the windy ones, and the other 2 the regular

What great content 😂❤ In retrospect, to be more fitting for this category, we need a custom knight skin that replaces the c dash sprites with the knight casually starting up and holding on in desperation to a wild, flying lawn mower with a skurry face on it. Somebody needs to get on that!

Achievement Unlocked: the mowner

at 22:23, you said that it was impossible and the run was over if you missed the grass in the Hornet 2 fight. There is a no clip glitch that me and my friend @SrBoopster discovered that will allow you to go back into that room and get any grass that you left. The setup for the no clip is to open the menu in midair, fall to the bottom of the water, place a dreamgate, get out of the water onto solid ground, then warp to the dreamgate while moving the control stick/A and D back and forth until you warp. If you have dont it right, you will jump out of the water and start floating. This isn't really related to the video in any way, but I just wanted to share because it seems like no-one in the hollow knight discord or anyone in the community really cares.
