I know that early One Piece has an official sub but I started my One Piece journey with Kaizoku Fansubs. It was a huge "WOW" moment to get caught up to the anime and manga and then realize Randy was part of that team for Kaizoku Fabsubs. He's one of the OGs in the community and to hear about his determination to work on what he loves in any capacity inspires me.
That was an absolutely phenomenal interview! You ABSOLUTELY have to get Randy back after season 2 comes out so you can talk about that and have another legendary and meaningfull conversation

I remember taking a typing class in middle school. That was around the time that Pokemon first started airing in the morning. Around the same time, Sailor Moon, DBZ, etc were coming to Cartoon Network. I didn't have internet at home, so I'd spend free time in that class literally searching "what is anime?"
dude...off topic question...what if like after finishing the story of one piece ...what if they all had a vacation with oda ..and they post all of their daily vlog on youtube or on their actual one piece site...like you can see nami and oda going on a shopping spree...franky and robin voice actor going on a beach swimming..and u can see luffy and hancock voice actor chilling on a park...they can also animate their daily vlogs...i mean wouldnt that be cool???
He talks about One Piece almost in a way that people talk about religion. Like with a spiritual connection to the show. And thats how i feel about it. The message in One Piece is one of Peace Unity Kindness and Chasing Your Dreams. Its one of the most hopeful shows in a dark time of nihilism. One Piece is special. I am so happy to have been able to experience it with everyone else at the same time. It connects us ❤ all across the world 🌎
This was great! Randy is a savage and doesn't hold back when he can. When he's not under an NDA, the 2nd part to this episode will be epic! He's a catalog of knowledge with all he's done and absorbed over his lifetime of nerdom. He was absolutely right when he said V1 and the Troys should get together, have some fun, and hash things out! Crissy and Randy enjoyed Sweet Tooth, and so did you guys. Plus, it just so happens that our favorite "hybrid" deer guy will be available after the last season comes out on June 6, and he played a brief but excellent part in S1 as a little, begrieved blonde hair boy. Which shouldn't require his services anytime soon in the near future, but it'd be cool if he played another infamous hybrid deer fellow that happened to have been portrayed by "actors" who played a blonde child then went on to play a very adorable raccon dog...I mean reindeer. Thus keeping up with the long cherished tradition. I'm just saying that Sweet Tooth S3 premieres in June, and OPLA S2 is rumored to start filming in June. So, it seems like perfect timing with things lining up. Also, I just want to get this out there in the nerd/weeb ether, Glen Powell and Adria Arjona would make for a great Smoker and Robin. Their movie Hit Man premieres on Netflix the same day as Sweet Tooth S3 does, so they're available to start filming with the rest of the cast in June as well. Which gives me an for a fan cast video where you take suggestions and rank their probability of being cast by how many projects they've done for Netflix with people involved in front of the camera and behind the scenes. That should be really fun and quite intense amf! For example, Glen and Adria have been involved in quite a bit of productions at Netflix. Food for thought. Ok...byeeee!!!🎉

Also 1000% croco mom is my least favorite theory too. I DO believe in the possibility that Crocodile was formerly female, but that's where it stops. Like WHAT does it bring to the story if Croc is Luffy's mom?? Why would he NEED to be Luffy's mom??? It makes the story way more convoluted than it should be.
yep. Very good chance that he was female because it is the most logical and simple explanation for the interaction he had with Ivankov, but Luffys mom makes 0 sense

I think that good power scalers take the "narrative" and character / story evolution into account. The ones that right at least do haha. But Ig if you're reading of the story is wrong, then you're also going to be wrong about the power scaling
broooo I came up with the Im is a tontatta idea. I'm not saying I was the first, but it was an original thought that I hadn't heard anyone else say. Unfortunately if you scale Im against other things in the background it seems very unlikely.
I get the whole 24 episodes in 8 now. Theyre definitely teying to save money, but ngl I could never watch regular shows before because of how episodic they were, but now things have an underlying plot that moves forward.
