He had a pretty significant reach adv, and he was spamming jabs. Best way to deal with that IMO is to go inside and punish the body and tire him out with the eventual uppercut to keep him honest. Only going in the offensive after 6 or so rounds tiring him out.Also since you are with Money weaving and stepping as much as you can. Also the more you hold the block the less effective it is, I don't know if you knew that but it has its entirely separate stamina.
What I love doing is playing footsies and getting out of range to make them whiff. Also another tactic it’s kinda hard to do online due to lag but I wait for them to throw any power punch and I block and return or slip and return. When I get in the groove it works great

I was out looking for scrap on my day off work i live in Chicago so i see a lot if evictions an came across a practically brand new ps3 an an i have this game digital on my account an now all I have been doing is playing my legacy mode with what free time I have so thanks Rick J for getting me back into this was always my favorite boxing game. Once i get my groove back would love to go a few rounds not sure what you play on.

Yeah I think you knocked him down twice in each of the 10-7 rounds so seems a fair scoring of those rounds and you deserved the fight on the cards even if you hadn't got that splendid final knockout. What a great comeback win!
I am honestly surprised ppl still play this game. When i bought my ps4 and noticed they went the mma road instead of sticking with boxing, i was a sad panda
