@@Shosholegbt getting one detail wrong isnt a fake fan? tf is even a fake fan? if you like something youre a fan of it, you dont have to know every single thing about it lmao.
5:49 "I'm not sure what those items are supposed to be..." Those are a kelp leaf (on the left) and a cucumber (on the right). Those are heavily associated with Kappas in Japanese mythology. Hope that helps!
loved this, very well done (they always are but still felt like saying it lol). animal crossing is definitely up there for games that i desperately feel compelled to know what's beyond the boundaries because of how aggressively limited the view is
About the drawing in Kapp'n's boat: I think it shows a cucumber on the right, a kappa's favorite food. On the left could be some writing from Kapp'n's daughter Leila.
This has convinced me of nothing if not that the world of Animal Crossing is actually an eldritch horror masquerading as Nintendo's most wholesome franchise
5:50 Based on the little I know about Kappa I'd assume that the black squiggle on the left is someone's intestine as Kappa reach into people's buttholes to steal and eat their souls. And on the right is a cucumber a Kappas's other favourite food.
The game looks even cooler being able to turn the camera all the way around. Hoping in the next animal crossing they do away with the one sided world idea
Thank you for using the extracted models. It grew old quickly watching you in past videos struggle to fit the camera between the skin and eye just to get a really awkward closeup of a pupil. Literally my only real complaint ever about this channel.
1:00 It hurts my soul that he didn't press down on the right analog stick to change the angle of the camera and "unfold" the world while it was all in view.
I highly respect the devs for the tricks they use to make their games as exciting as possible. Boundary Break, Retro Game Mechanics Explained... we need this type of videos to see and understand what they do. Still upset Nintendo claimed the first ACNH video. I hope it won't happen to this one...
Hey Shesez, I would really like to see if you could maybe do a Splatoon 2 boundary break. You did Splatoon 1 and Splatoon 3 boundary brake videos, but never a Splatoon 2 one!
the fact that the world is a cylinder is cool but im wondering have you ever turned collision off to swim like really far in one direction? I swam south once until i reached an island that looked like mine but had no grass but the buildings and bridges/inclines were still there and floating
Kapp'n's family photo shows them standing on the island from New Leaf. You can tell by the hut in the background is the same one found in that game. Needless to say... it is not from GameCube.
9:12 I have seen the two fish in the tank together at the same time once, but never again. I don't know if it was a glitch forcing them to be there together or if there is some condition that triggers this.
do a boundary break on sky children of the light i know you can kinda see some things by chibi falling but id love to see what secrets your able to find in it
The 3D Fish Models on land was nightmare fuel I didn't need. 🤣🤣 I was waiting anxiously for another AC Boundary Break, and this video just made my day! ✨️ Edit: I can't spell and also the giant bugs are even further nightmare fuel. XD
agreed! would love to see the actual entity models compared to the model items you can get from flick. would also love the same with fish, but that would require catching all of them which sounds time consuming
This was awesome! All of the villagers are fully modelled underneath their clothing, primarily due to the player having the ability to make them wear any outfit they choose (clothing types come in different sized), however for all of the special NPCs (minus tom nook, nook twins, isabelle, K.K. Slider), almost all of the NPCs do not have a full model. Their clothing is actually part of the model, whereas for the few NPCs and all villagers, their clothing consists of a separate model that is layered on top of their model. Also, kinda related, did you know that all 3 hedgehog siblings have unique models and they are not just recoloured versions of the same model?
Too bad he knows nothing about Animal Crossing. Most of the "secrets" he shows are clearly visible in the game, and some of the claims he makes about the game are incorrect. This video was definitely made by someone who does not actually play Animal Crossing but just made assumptions based on dropping into the game one time, not knowing how things work in actual game play.
@@mynameisworld Are you serious? I'm the one who produced the camera hack, I've researched this game extensively and I have a pretty decent understanding of the games inner workings. A lot of the stuff he showed in the video is usually overlooked by the player anyway. What exactly is the nonsense that you don't understand?
Oh damn this is PERFECT timing. I was secretly hoping this would come out one day, the overworld zoom section and showing how the culling works is gonna be amazing for understanding how best to reduce lag on decorated islands.
Fish Silhouette are two words I never knew belonged together. There are some really nice finds in this episode. It is surprising that you are still making discoveries in Animal Crossing. The devs dialed up the culling slider to 11.
A video of nothing but showcasing big bugs would be an incredible watch! I'd like to see as many of them as possible, there's so much detail unseen from the in-game scale and camera!
Such a pleasure to help out with this episode! You were an amazing person to work with, and this episode is AWESOME!!!! :D Great job on your finds! :) Thank you Shesez! :D
Buildings are modeled on the back because of the fence building mode and camera mode in game which does 90 degree vertical view that you can see the backs of buildings from.
Could you do DOOM 3 boundary break? I would love to see everything! It looks like there would be a lot of interesting stuff in it. Also please release a full video showing all the footage separately if you can.
It's strange that you'd bring this up on a video featuring an Animal Crossing game that has Isabelle in it. What does that have to do with Doom, of all games? ;)
It's super obscure, but could you do an out of bounds video for some streetpass games on the 3ds? Like Ultimate Angler, Battleground Z, etc. It'd be super interesting to see
I have the Hallmark ornament of him and they're on it. It's so cute and I totally didn't expect it. Had no idea it was actually part of the in-game model as well!
🤦 You CAN see. They are clearly visible every time the camera spins during a song. Have you people never actually played Animal Crossing???? Most of the "secrets" in this video are plainly visible in the game. And some of his claims about the game (what you can/can't see in standard game play, the "only" claims, etc.) are factually incorrect. Anyone who plays the game would instantly know the nonsense in what the guy is saying.
A little disappointed you didn't do the giant models thing at the museum. That would've been a quick and easy way to show off the detail on the fish, bugs, and possibly fossils but I doubt that'll work unless you can supersize furniture (which is an ENORMOUS can of worms to open lmao). Love seeing all the little details and dev tricks on display, this is a very cleverly built game!
Yeah, my hack allows you to change the size of all furniture too lol. :p Essentially what you see is what you get, when it comes to fish. They made it much easier to get a closer look at them, in comparison to the bugs.
