Ancient Egypt/Khemet (it was only started to be called Egypt after Alexander of Macedonia took the kingdom) was conquered by many of the surrounding kingdoms over it's 3 000 years existence. So it would stand to reason that the kingdom would be made up of people who could trace their ancestry to multiple ethnic groups from Africa, the Mediterranean area and the Middle East. Placing modern concepts of race on an ancient kingdom like Egypt/Khemet isn't reasonable.

He knew that once he ascended to the afterlife, Egypt would be in trouble without his leadership so he made it his sworn duty to crush as many of his enemies as possible so that his people could live peacefully and prosper after his death. Unfortunately this faltered when later pharaohs proved to be weak and ineffective eventually leading to the collapse of the Egyptian kingdom thus paving the way for the Greek Ptolemaic Dynasty.

@@carlosaugustodinizgarcia3526 Ramesses III presided over an Egypt in decline, thanks to the Bronze Age Collapse which deprived Egypt of its trading partners. The true biblical Egyptians and the 12 tribes of Israel were black people. the black people in western, central, south, and east Africa. The west and the world need to stop spreading their propaganda lies. When Yahshua comes back. everyone will see and accept the truth. YOU PEOPLE IN THE WEST, EAST, HAVE TRIED TO COVER UP BLACK HISTORY BUT YOU WILL NOT SUCCEED IN DOING IT. You people have lied to the whole world. You take the Torah(holy bible) and whitewash it. you take black history and whitewash it. if you guys could take Egypt out of the continent of Africa, you would. just to cover up your generational lies and deceit. the ancient city of Atlantis is in the continent of africa.b

In the movie the ten commandments Ramesses II is shown as an arrogant, pompous ass who is undone by his own hubris. His flaws notwithstanding he is the pharaoh of all pharaohs, the one who shaped his time like no other and the one we remember. Almost as famous as his contemporary Moses in his own right.

And for another view: I met a traveller from an antique land, Who said-"Two vast and trunkless legs of stone Stand in the desert. . . . Near them, on the sand, Half sunk a shattered visage lies, whose frown, And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command, Tell that its sculptor well those passions read Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things, The hand that mocked them, and the heart that fed; And on the pedestal, these words appear: ‘My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings; Look on my Works, ye Mighty, and despair!' Nothing beside remains. Round the decay Of that colossal Wreck, boundless and bare The lone and level sands stretch far away." Ozymandias was the Greek name for Ramses 11.

Even today the place, where the dead body of Pharaoh was found floating, is pointed out by the inhabitants of that region. It lies on the western coast of the Sinai Peninsula and is now known by the name of Jabl-i-Firaun (Pharaoh’s Mount). There is also near to it a hot spring called Hammam-i-Firaun (Pharaoh’s Bath), which is situated at a distance of a few miles from Abu Zenimah, where, they say, Pharaoh’s dead body was found lying. If the Pharaoh who was drowned was Mineptah, who ruled over Egypt when Prophet Moses (peace be upon him) was sent to him, his embalmed dead body is still lying in the Cairo Museum. When Sir Grafton E. Smith removed the bandages from his mummy, a layer of salt was found on the body, which was a clear proof that he was drowned in the sea. 93. That is, We show signs to the people over and over again so that these should serve as warnings and be the means of teaching them lessons, but it is a pity that they do not learn lessons even from such signs as the dead body of Pharaoh.

OK< very interesting and educational documentary. I just watched a couple of days ago the well known Hollywood movie "The Ten Commandments" starring Yul Brinner as Ramesses II. In the movie he is the...bad guy, while Moses (Charlton heston) is the good guy. Now, does any archaelogical findins mention the existence of Moses in Egypt at that time as the Olt Testament says ? Does the archaelogical findings mention the existence of the Hebrews (NOT Jews !!) as slaves in Egypt at that time ? The movie depicts Nefertari as the Ramesses II's wife who didn't love him at all, whill he built a LOVE temple to her at Abu Simbel. Of course, the movie is made by Hollywood Jews taking the liberty to change what ever they liked. According to the Old Testament (and movie), Moses brought the freedom to the enslaved Hebrews in Egypt and led them through the Sinai Desert to Canaan which he never reached. But as far as I know, the Canaan at that time was under the Egypt's rule, so the Hebrew slaves moved inside the same empire, still being the subjects of the Pharoah Ramesses II. Moreover, the Canaan was just the next door, easy to reach and punish them at any time bu Ramesses II. It should be mention that Egypt reached it largest territory under Ramesses II. In the movie a Troy ambassador came to the Pharaoh Ramesses II bringing gifts, but Troy was never under the Egyptian rule and very far from its bounderies. Could any history lover, an Egyptologist bring me light on these details, please ? A while ago I have read that the Hebrews were never slaves in Egypt as the Old testament writes.

Hmm…. And you don’t think that Ramses is the God Ram that Hindus worship?? They just took the Egyptian events and wrote them in the Mahabharata.. Hindus could be an ancient Jewish sect that was cast out by Moses for worshiping the golden calf like the Egyptians used to do... the people then migrated east through Persia where they gave rise to the Zoroastrianism (who worship fire, which could be a homage to the burning bush, similarly the Baháʼí Faith, could believes the fire as the burning bush) and finally settled in India where the were safe beyond the Indus River. They continued to worship the cow, the cobra and then adapted animal headed Gods like the Egyptians..and wrote the Mahabharata to remember their Egyptian pharaoh Gods..😏
