And now we can see why urethane is the go-to for when they're hooking a ton. But every release by all these companies seems to be something that's either going to hook at your feet or want to hook 30 boards soon as it hits friction.

Welcome to real bowling =) Rule of thumb, take your house average, subtract 40 and that's where you start ASSUMING you can hit spares. Transition is totally different as well. I suck on PBA level (185 ish) but it's fun having to make shots not just throw the ball right. Another hint: You can't play side to side like on house. You have to find the correct spot down lane i.e. play front to back.

I played on a long sport pattern for first time last week at my house. Only had symmetrical balls with me. I was so confused while bowling. I was like damn where’s the oil on pattern end cause balls would just sail past normal break point. Guy at counter said I was on breakdown lane from a big money tournament last week they never used. That pattern made my phaze 2 at 4K finish play like a plastic ball. 😂 I normally average a 180 -185 on house and was stuck in the 140’s that day best being a 156 😢. Wish I would have taken bigger balls with me.

Love your channel man! I have a undrilled Rubicon UC2 pearl. I was thinking Phaze 2 to compliment it. Have you ever thrown the UC2 pearl?

These balls might have been happier at 2k or 3k grit finish. 1k is a lot of surface and they are just reading too early. A little length and smooth motion would help a lot.

I’m a beginner bowler just started this past February. Using an electrify GO bowling decent with it high score 233 but I feel like I need more ball. Any suggestions. My Rev rate is mid at best. I like to bowl down and in standing on about the 12th board.

Hustle USA, Columbia 300 messenger solid. Would be good options. If you want even more performance going to a Phaze 2 or trouble maker would make sense!

@@TheHype-Bowling ended up going with the Phase 2 was the best decision I’ve ever made topped my PR the second game out of box (234) while I haven’t been that high again yet I did bowl my best series to date in league last night with a 564. Can’t lie I’m addicted 😂

I’m a no thumb bowler I know that the trouble maker is designed for bowlers like me. Right now I have a phaze II I’m looking at the trouble maker, widow 2.0, or infinity as the ball I transition to or one I start out with and transition to my phaze II what do you think? I’ve watched all of your videos and came back to this to ask.

Out of those options I would lean towards the 2.0 or infinity and keep the surface on it. To keep them further apart from the Phaze 2

@@TheHype-Bowling so I have the dv8 I still have the phaze II when you say a bigger ball speaking as of today with all the balls out now the storm summit or the stealth pearl and some others what would you qualify as a bigger ball so I know what to buy. Yeah I don’t believe I would put them in the same bag unless I was two handed. You can make the balls super different with the layouts if you are two handed.
