I’ve been following tekken and most of this GOATED team for years. But to see them come together like this is truly beautiful. To see the love for the game grow from day one and see their improvement throughout the event is so amazing. I sadly couldn’t be there live and I don’t have the retention to watch the vods, so thank you soooo much for this amazing experience BP! I’ve been hype over tournaments and individual sets before, I’ve yelled, jumped out of my chair, etc. but I’ve never felt this level of emotion from an event. Thank you so much for putting this out and coaching them to make this possible. I know the others won’t see this but, thank you to EVERYONE involved in this. This event shows the best parts of the fgc that are easy to forget about. As a video, this was truly one of the best experiences I’ve had the pleasure of watching… but the impact the event itself has (or at least I believe it has) is going to be a HUGE step towards something legendary. So many people will pick up the game from this video, let alone the actual streams. I can’t wait to see where this community can go ❤

Absolutely goated event, not to mention the team. I knew nothing about Tekken coming into this, but man this game is so hype and fun to watch, especially compared to other fighting games imo. I'm a Coney and Super viewer, so seeing them on a team together was also a dream come true. This kind of content is amazing, I really hope an event that brings together communities like this happens again in the future. Also, Coney had better get you that "World's Best Dad" mug, you 100% deserve it.

I usually never comment on any video and i usually also don't get emotional but the hype in some of these matches, how people genuinely wanted and enjoyed improving at the game, your little speech at the end BP about how much your fanbase and the tekken fanbase has grown... Idk it made me shed a tear.. You can tell a whole lot more people are enjoying the game. Where i live nobody used to play tekken7 but ever since t8 came out, the community grew a lot (we now have monthly locals which is great) and i couldn't be happier. I wish you BP and all the people that participated all the best and all the success, be it in tekken or in life in general. I genuinely believe BP is the best Tekken content creator. Idk how many times i rewatched all the tekken highlight videos and how much i laughed. I guess what I'm trying to say is: Thank you BrawlPro

i was playing tekken 6 on PSP at elementary school and when tekken 8 was realesed a few weeks ago. I know it sounds cheesy but this entire tournament and specifically Brawlpro’s teams run reminded me why I love fighting games, I haven’t felt this much hype since the SF4 and Marvel 3 days. This along with Tekken 8 being as good and as popular as it is has managed to pull me back into the FGC and actually want to try competing in tournaments again which is something I haven’t wanted to do since Tekken 7’s home release, and knowing you’re going to EVO has got me excited to watch it for the first time in nearly 10 years. I don’t wanna get my hopes up but this game is really starting to feel like it’ll be to this generation of the FGC what SF4 was to me and the rest of the 09’ers. It’s also kinda crazy to see my two favorite streamers (Brawlpro and Coney) who I’ve both been watching for at least 6 years each at this point interacting, not something I would’ve ever expected to see.

I'm new to Tekken and I just wanna say I really fucking loved this event. I especially loved getting to see people new to the game like me learning it and all the content that came from that, as well as their growth.

I’ve never seen or played Tekken before, I’m here from Coney. Jack-8 has the coolest animations out of any character I’ve seen. They nailed the clunky buff robot with extendo arms
