Learn from Legends: www.legendaryst...
If you've seen the show "Human Weapon," you've seen Yoddecha. Many know him as the famous Muay Thai champion from the legendary Sityodtong camp, but not many know of his incredible story.
Coming from an abusive household, Yoddecha Sidyodtong left home when he was 7 years old. Before he would eventually become a Muay Thai champion, Yoddecha had once been enslaved in a child smuggling ring where he was made to peddle food on the streets, and beaten up when the day’s earnings were too little.
This went on for 3 years until he eventually escaped. Muay Thai and Sityodtong gym saved his life. But Yoddecha didn’t manage to find his way home until almost 10 years later. By then, his family thought he had died.
This is Yoddecha’s harrowing story of how a poor kid who was constantly bullied and beaten eventually triumphed the odds and became a Muay Thai champion.

the most misunderstood thing in the world about humans is that only aggressive people and people who are out looking for a fight that do martial arts. and thats not true. many who struggle look at martial arts as a way out of poverty or a way to live in general. because martial arts itself is more of a dicipline than just physical strength. i myself am an orthodox boxer and i know my shit. im not even good, but i can understand and see what people who refine their skills to the max. and that takes dedication, consistency, and a lot of heart and brain power, you will often see the best of the best in martial arts being calm outside training and fighting. (connor mcgregor is a showman so he does not count. he is good in what he does but still, he is a better showman than a fighter)

@Lopes Gote Bekeerling Could it be that George has never been interested in Muay Thai? What about people who are not even martial arts enthusiasts, let alone fighters? Do you need to train to appreciate the life that Yoddecha has risen to? No. This man's life is inspirational on much more than a fighter's level, and to someone who's trained and had hardships, it is spiritually reaffirming.

If I hear my kids complain about anything, I will have they watch this. His childhood was so unbelievable. The hardship he had to deal with at such a young age is so incredible, and in our society, kids are so spoiled and weakened by over protecting parents that allow them to do anything they damn please. Given Hollywoods trackrecord over the past 30 years and the fact that two of its most hallowed directors are Steven Spielberg and George Lucas, I'm unsure Hollywood is fit to make a movie about anything really. I'd like to see Nikolas Winding Refn have a go at it, given his already established cultural understanding of thai and muay thai culture.

I usually watch LK breakdowns for techniques and deeper understanding behind the reason and origin of training. This is by far the most beautiful martial arts story ever. Please get commissioned for a movie. At no point was the slo-mo or music off putting or made me want to skip ahead, all perfectly timed and placed.

What an absolute legend, both as a nak muay, and as a human being...... I was unaware of this exponent of the Thai arts, and have nought but the utmost respect for him. I wish to thank Lawrence Kenshin for bringing this Thai fighter to my awareness, and I will look into his career in the ring much more from here. Max respect, Yoddechai Sidyodtong.

Great . I loved this but i still cannot understand some parts like the story he talked about the taxi and him running etc even with the captions I find it hard to understand whats happening. But for most part I got that hes very humble and training hard and turned into a nice life for him with doors opening thanks to him requesting his kru to allow him to fight at lumpinee. Im so happy all that hard life of uncertainty and no family around turned to happiness. finding his mother caring and providing for her and having his own family and own gym in uk

I'm not 100% sure but I think it's about the human trafficking gangster who trick or kidnap kids to work for them like beggar, or street seller. "HE" in the phase means someone who trick him (yoddecha) and other kids. Normally, HE will lead the kids to the 'make money' position and leave them there, wait for kids to make money for him and also watch over from running away. Yoddecha can run away with help from taxi driver and reach Pattaya.

For the taxi part, I think he meant that when he sought out help from the taxi driver, he saw the boss's car behind. He thought he was followed so he ran away from the taxi first. But then the boss's car zoomed past, so he ran back to the taxi driver, hopped on and escaped to Pattaya.
