1 thing to remember when you get frustrated with subaru lashing out and seeming like he's being an idiot, is that it's very easy to see which decisions are correct for us as the viewer, completely removed from the trauma, stress, and handicaps that he's dealing with. from his POV, he's died several gruesome deaths over the span of only a few days, each with their fair share of the people closest to him dying and new information for him to process being introduced. outside of that, it's a tough task for him to directly use the knowledge he's gained from those lives to change anything, because he's physically unable to provide any evidence that the future events he knows will happen, will happen. yes, he can work around that, but at the end of the day, in his world he's not a "protagonist" with protagonist level decision making. he's just an ordinary person trying to alter events that are way beyond the scope of his own ability, while having to restart the entire process from ground level every single time he makes a slight error or faulty judgement. not saying he's completely justified in how he's treated the people around him, but maybe giving a little more weight to the frustrations he's going through will help to understand why he's acting how he is, if not sympathize:)
Subaru doesnt even really have anything to offer to the candidates at this moment. He basically had a treath emerge that he needs help for, and barely anything to offer at his disposal. The candidates on the other hand are niether in danger or lacking in resources. And ofc they have way more experience in negotiations. Also we should sometimes think about how much time has passed. A day or two ago he saw the massacre in the village and at the mansion, then got frozen to death. Less then half a day ago he was imprisoned, then saw Rem tortured and had her die in his arms. Then he again saw the massacre, and froze to death and had his head cut of. And then he just poofed back at the street and had to negotiate with Crusch like half an hour later.
Great reaction! You understood the problem in his interactions very well. I know that "resetting" (aka killing yourself) seems like the obvious answer when things don't go your way, but I think it is important not to treat your own life and interactions with others as something to throw away. This could make him see his life as a video game and other people as objects, which will make him stop valuing them and seeing them as real.
All your responses to Subaru are correct. He is in a state of disinterest only in future events at the mansion and has no regard for those around him. I look forward to your reaction to this future.

So in this episode we learn that Al is short for Aldebaran, which is the name of a star. Betelgeuse is also the name of a star. Subaru is the name of a cluster of stars.
this is a weird analogy but what subaru is doing is equivalent to when you get mad at a game/tilt so you aggressively play/queue up despite you desperately needing a break to collect yourself
