The worst and greediest shameless cash grab has to be that Wizards of the Coast, which is the company that produces DnD, a game that has been around since 1974, recently got acquired by Hasbro, where the shadiest move in history was made. A new open gaming license was sent to all creators with a nondisclosure agreement and a strict deadline to sign. However, the new license is to completely shut down any and all competitors to WotC so that the head of digital development, Chris Cao, who has never played a single game of DnD, can turn the tabletop game into a monopolized virtual system with an expensive monthly subscription service that is required to even use the new system. This is because Chris Cao worked at another shady company that worked with mobile games, and he sees all gamer as the same as mobile gamers. What’s worse, they had the gall to backtrack and say that the open game license contract they were forcing creators to sign was a “draft” and they “always intended to get community feedback before releasing the ‘final product’”. Needless to say, the DnD community has been thrown into complete and utter turmoil because of a few executives at WotC that thought the game was undermonetized when just the books can cost upwards of $30 each.

The only game on the list I've played on this list is Hogwards mystery, and I remember that terrible Devil's snare encounter, and I remember hating the energy system, and how almost all cosmetics were locked behind either crazy grinds or money. Beieve me, that is barely a game.

This is way too evil for the world and I’m afraid to say this but the worst I can imagine is locking both the story mode and multiplayer mode under separate microtransactions. After paying full price for the game. With a timer where you have to pay to access each new area. Whoever would do that would be one of the major evil people in human history.

The Deadraising one reminds me of the Asura's Wrath Controversy. Basically the same thing, but the reason was that CapCom had already planned out a Sequel to finish off the Story, but when the Game didn't sell well enough to Fund a Sequel, they released the True Ending as DLC, along side a few Extras, like a Street Fighter mode. CapCom has been doing Better since back then, so can we PLEASE get an Asura's Wrath Remaster?!! Or HELL even just a Port with all the DLC Pre-included?!!

As for the Hogwarts Mystery one, it's not near as bad as the dude makes it seem. I play it. You start with only 24 Max Energy, as you level up and progress you gain additional Max Energy, I'm currently in Year 7 and up to 54. On top of that, there's "tappies" around the castle that give you free energy (including pets that live in your dorm room - they're super freaking cute). Anyway, love the content!!

For the worst microtransactions idea, what about this: Let's say it is an Animal Crossing-style game. Maybe it's a new MySims game that is inspired by the original on Wii and PC. So by default, you only have mouse controls outside of pause, etc for PC players and console players, touch only for mobile. To unlock full keyboard and mouse controls, $1. To unlock controller support, $1. Now, some characters are behind loot boxes. And by some, I mean most. So many that, even if somehow you don't get dupes, you are likely to need lots of lootboxes to beat the game as you need a minimum number of quests done. Use lootboxes to get new characters or, if you already have that character, unlock for a few times bonus quests. Eventually, it will just give you random items or money. If you have bad or even mediocre luck, you can't beat the game without paying or waiting. And note: Building slots are limited. You only got like 20 slots overall that you can put in and/or kick out. But to kick out, you need specific resources that you can get with the currency or grinding. And to get people in, you need to do side quests. And these quests can range from "Give me 1 or 2 of this common resource" to "Either you can go to that volcano you didn't unlock due to not doing this quest that's almost paid and figure out this hard, randomly generated, detective case OR you can pay $5 to get 3 insta-move tickets and use 4 of them on me." And to delete saves, you can't unless if you have gotten in-game the Reset item from the endgame or from $1. And if it detects outside tampering to delete a save, anti-piracy kicks in. And to start a save, you *have* to save. No "Continue Without Saving". If you fail a speedrun or challenge run lots, better get ready to have lots of money. @EAGames plz don't respond.

To quickly explain "Fake Prices" for Fallout 76: Some of the stuff on sale had a discount on them, but the thing is that the stuff being sold aren't on discount, they're being marked up and discounted to both appear like a good deal and also engage in FOMO (Fear of missing out) with potential customers since obviously the discount will go away someday.
