He's an amazing singer. I think if he had chosen to sing in English at the beginning of his career over ten years ago, he would be an international star (look at what Maneskin achieved). But he chose to stay true to Italian songwriting and ballads, and we love him even more.
He is an amazing singer indeed !! And he can always start singing in English only if he feels like it. The best for artists is to stay true to what they live. That's when they are shining 🌟
Marco's definitely an insane vocalist and he seems to always be able to "feel" what he's singing, which makes his performance even better. I recommend you to also react to him singing "Klama" during the "Notte Della Taranta" as he sang in grico, which is an Italian dialect very similar to Greek, and he was quite incredible❤
Non è vero che sia la prima volta che Marco Mengoni canta in inglese...nel suo primo album di esordio del 2009 si possono ascoltare le covers che cantò a X-Factor ( che vinse ) come : Man in the mirror di Michael Jackson e Psycho killer dei Talking Heads 🔝🔝🔝 E durante la trasmissione mi ricordo che canto' Billie Jane , una canzone di Nina Simone ( my baby just care...) Kiss di Prince e altri

Grazie per questo video! Mengoni ha partecipato l'anno scorso alla"Notte della Taranta", interpretando "Klama", un canto sull'emigrazione in dialetto Griko (Katoitaliótika in greco). Forse è un tipo di musica troppo tradizionale per i vostri gusti, ma la sua interpretazione è bellissima. I strongly believe that he needs to change the song. "Due vite" needs at least a couple of listens to be appreciated and at Eurovision it won't be possible.
@@nightking5144 I heard it about aonth ago, but I couldn't understand everything he said to be honest. The accent was very strong but his voice was still beautiful 😍
They also should cut nearly 50 minutes from "Due vite" to fit into Eurovision song requirements and that should be too much I believe better go with another song...
