While not the biggest fan of Lovecraft, I do love that his mythos has attracted so much fresh and original material. Great work beautifully delivered, as always. Thanks Ian. 👌
Thanks to YT for not putting this in my notifications tab even though I have the bell set to "All".😮💨 And actual genuine thanks to you Ian for all of your hard work, and to you Jen for all the support you provide. You two are a dream team!😄 Also in the back of my head all I can hear is Bob Davie singing about this Green Door.😂
Fun fact. The film "Behind the Green Door" is an adaptation of this story. Through a strange series of events involving a hot tub time machine, the film’s director had initially been trying to make a faithful horror adaptation of this story from the future. Of course, early 1970s Hollywood being Hollywood, it was rejected over and over for not being mainstream, and passed through the hands of many producers and screenwriters, until finally it was made into an ‘adult drama’ with a plot that bore no relationship whatever to the source material.
Im here and ready for more mystery horror and lore of our strange world. Its hard to imagine this world without it all xo :) cheers and thankyou for sharing ♎🌏🌈🍭🥶❤😅
you know its getting dreadfully real when there are mindless bench sitters staring in their smartphone in a story - the otherwordly, virtually normalized - scary stuff.
I really enjoyed that story called The house that Remembered the other night. Absolutely fantastic xo I love our some of the stories connect xo. This is gonna be a real treat cheers and thankyou Ian Gordon xo
That was great ! I really enjoyed it. The only other thing I can say, is that if that was the green door Mr Stevens was going on about, I'm not surprised he was shakin' lol.
This story was excellent today. I am fascinated by different colored doors. However, that Green door was quite terrifying. Amazing narration. Thank you ❤️🤗🌟
Great story and narration! I like how you refer to one of your other stories. This narration is so good. I like the conversation between the guys on the street. Yeah, nothin' like a' good new mythos story.
Well you sent me on a google maps goose chase down mosely street looking for a green door! And then I stumbled across another site, one maps personal hobby to catalogue all the underground tunnels, vaults and forgotten spaces of Manchester! Great story Ian. As always. 🎉
Quite a coinkydink. Few days ago walked in old part of town and suddenly fixated on a door. "Good Lord! How old is it?" It was almost ancient. But mine was red... at least it was red many years ago.
Azoth the only time I've ever heard this word is in one of my old ps2 games called Haunting grounds a game made by Capcom. Azoth is what the pursuers call Fiona the main female protagonist as they chase her through the castles.
I'm so glad Ian Gordon is not a doctor. Imagine him telling a patient in that voice. "your results have arrived and unfortunately we have to talk about the... prognosis."
My second lusten, and I think my favourite element is the harmonic between the ethereal and the decayed modern world. Like a better Horror at Red Hook.
Warren’s status is unclear. As a contestant on _Let’s Make a Deal_ he had the choice between a 2024 Toyota Tundra with all the extras or whatever lay behind Door Number 3. In a fit of FOMO, Warren chose Door Number 3. The Door Number 3 prize consisted of an all expenses paid vacation to Carcosa with immediate departure and return TBD. The audience cheered as the squamous yellow tentacles seized Warren and dragged him kicking and screaming through the door.
