Sergiu Volda the one I'm playing in the video is a McCallum practice chanter. There are many different chanters that range from $80-$200 but they are just for practice. I'd suggest a lower budget one $80-$100 to start out. ( Something made from plastic, wood is nice but expensive) You can get great package deals that come with a chanter, reed, book and DVD for fairly cheap, but I do suggest finding a local pipe band and get some one on one lessons so you don't learn bad habits ( there are a lot of bad habits for piping haha). Sergiu Volda I’d recommend something cheaper like what he said, I’m using a Pipers Choice practice chanter and it has lasted me many years and for a book get the College of Piping Book level One as it will get you started in the right direction in only a few weeks
