I loved how they had a full fledged fight but he's still ain't let Kato die. That shows besides the bs he still cares about Kato's well being. Real friends fight the hardest but we only do cuz we care😅
@@vetarlittorf1807 I don’t know if insult is the right word. It’s a 50 year old show. And, “supposed to be?” Really? It was, but do the things we rehash have to be the exact same as they were? And if we do that what’s the point of redoing them? I understand your viewpoint and I would even understand not enjoying the movie if you were a fan of the source material But I thought they did a good job on it.
@@westleystone6577 They didn't have to rehash anything. They just needed to stay true to the traditional tone of the franchise. The 60's series was its own take on the characters, but it nevertheless stayed true to the fundamentals of the Green Hornet. The Green Hornet simply doesn't work unless it's a crime thriller. If you make it a comedy, then it's no longer Green Hornet.
@@vetarlittorf1807 I don’t think people would’ve taken the concept of the Green Hornet seriously in 2010 as a thriller centered around a media mogul and his driver fighting crime as “the Green Hornet.” It’s like generic brand Batman. We really want generic brand Batman?
@@westleystone6577 Uhh...yes they would. For the same reason why people still take classic Green Hornet seriously. And Green Hornet is nothing like Batman. Unlike Batman, Green Hornet is not a billionaire, he's not a playboy, he's not brooding, he's very cynical regarding the law, he's a journalist and Kato is more of a partner and brother figure to him than a sidekick. In fact, one of the reasons people hated 2011's Green Hornet is because it deviates so much from the Green Hornet mythos.
i like it hen kato kicked him like a lot of times and hit him with a door of a stupid refrigerator or some sort and smacked a bottle in his head 3 or 4 times and he still oesnt have bruises or he is still not bleeding
Yeah lol that is the most expensive barbell in the world without jewelries. You need to set it first otherwise its around 52 lbs lol Seth did not workout confirmed.
I like the fact that this film subverts the whole comic book/superhero tropes. The main character is a selfish idiot who tried to act like Tom Cruise but really has no idea what he’s doing, the sidekick actually does more than him, and he has a parent who’s killed but he really doesn’t give a crap because of how much of a jerk he was. Honestly, I liked that Seth Rogen took a take like this, made it feel fresh. Underrated comedy and comic book film.
Am I the only one who heard the Hadouken when he launched Seth into the wall? That was f****** hilarious. Kids today will never understand the street fighter reference
lol if this was real they both would be dead Seth would have passed out and died from internal bleeding and Kato would have drowned maybe not who knows Seth might be able to save him before he passes out
Man, first time I saw this I was on a treadmill at the gym, and when he yelled "Hadouken!" When he launched him from the table, I nearly fell off the God damn thing😊
