@@piccolopez2475 Correct-A very strong set of lungs and a very talented player-I have two of his albums and he's up there with Maynard Ferguson, Al Hirt and Doc Severinson!:)-John in Texas
I would agree - except for Moto Perpetuo, which requires the trumpet player to use circular breathing for over 4 and a half minutes because there are no rests. But the amount of double and triple tonguing required here is extremely difficult no doubt.
@@Jabulaya I had a band director in college. I asked him if we could do El Salon Mexico (the Aaron Copeland piece). He said he would love to but he doubted that any of the trumpet players could do the part which calls for double tonguing. Btw, the saxes on the original Green Hornet recording also have a nasty time trying to play their parts as well.
A very intense tune . A tune written long before these guys where born . Still this trumpet player has put in the time to learn and perform this iconic TV show theme . Bravo !
Tim Waygar That was also Al Hirt when he was fresh... I’m pretty damn sure Green Hornet was not the first piece Tero played at this concert. It’s way better when you listen to the version he plays in studio compared to in concert.
It's much more difficult to copy someone else's style than it is to create your own style. Advantage goes to Al Hirt. Although, Mr. Lindberg demonstrates awesome talent. WOW !!
"Flight of the Bumblebee" composed by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, arranged by Billy May, "Flight of the Bumblebee" is an orchestral interlude written by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov for his opera The Tale of Tsar Saltan, composed in 1899-1900.
This isn't flight of the bumblebee, the person who created the green hornet theme took inspiration from flight of the bumblebee, but this song isn't flight of the bumblebee.
That's is an extremely difficult trumpet piece. AL HIRT was an amazing trumpet player in the 60s and 70s there wasn't a household in America that didn't know who he was. This man in this video is amazing.
Que maravillosa melodía y que interpretación más difícil, para trompeta,no muchos trompetistas la interpretan","El vuelo del Moscardón",tema de la vieja serie EL AVISPON VERDE,con un adolescente BRUCE LEE"!!!!
The focus of this dude is legendary, the breath is almost spiritual haha Im having green hornet obsession since a few days it feeds me a lot of light in my head spaaace. WONDERFUL LIVE. THANKS FOR THE DOPAMINE.
Just found this while looking for Al Hirt's original following up on a Jeopardy! question. Mr. Lindberg is the only trumpeter I know who can match Al Hirt. He really did the piece justice!!
Que bárbaro que cosa tan buena que viva la musica, uff soy trompetista y eso lo que hace es inspirarte mas, tengo casi 40 ejecutando y los que faltan. Bravooooooooo.
Kevin Walsh The Conductor was challenging me for a trumpet playing competition 😀 He doesn’t play trumpet at all so he was just joking around 😂 and try to disturb me 😀
