this is definitely something that the general public could benefit from! it's so shocking what's considered 'radical' in the usa regarding the environment as opposed to other countries.

I really want to know when these projects are done, what happens to the jobs created to reach the goals of the proposal? This deal is only projected for 10 years, so what happens after that? Also, who covers the cost of family, medical, vacation leave and retirement for these companies? These things are not free. For example, I personally receive over $30,000 in these benefits per year from my employer. How are we going to guarantee these for all employees without a clear profit model to fund it? Also, what does zero-emissions energy sources mean? I cannot find such a thing anywhere. There is no such thing so far as I know, the closest to it would include some type of electric motor or compressed air system, all of which are polluting in some way. Can you please provide an example of zero-emissions energy? Shout-outs to your fellow... "numtas?" I don't know what that means, and I cannot find anything about it online. Can you please provide a link? At the end, you literally said that the green new deal can be anything that fits with what is proposed. Does this seem reasonable? That doesn't even get into questions about the funding for medical benefits for everyone, food and housing for everyone, building and transportation upgrades across the entire country, and training & education for everyone. It all sounds wonderful, but wonderful things require wonderful means. If the intent is accelerationism so as to highlight the lengths that must be gone to in order to implement such wonderful things, and is in actuality expected to be scaled back to more sane parameters to meet up with reality, then I'm all for it. But as it is, the Green New Deal is not only an impossibility, it is one that will absolutely TANK our nation economically if implemented as written. Thanks for your time.

Hi Ty, like I say in the video, it's a framework not policy. That means it's a list of things the U.S. hopes to do to combat the climate crisis. Your questions are directed at specific policies, which are not included in the GND. The real impossibility and radical idea is not acting on climate change. :)
