Just thought of a kickass idea for thing in a power rangers season. You guys know how Tommy was in Dino Thunder? Well he kept a record of every power rangers team to date through the Morphing Grid. What if in the next season they build a traning simulator for the new rangers to fight against old rangers to help them better their skills. And the first one they fight is...oh lets say the first Green Ranger?

Tommy gave his shield 3 times to someone else, In Episode Gung Ho he gave it to Jason for the 1st time.

I can't remember the episode title, but perhaps you can google the synopsis. I know that Jason keeps blaming himself for Tommy's lost powers. So he's practicing one day but can't get a vision of Tommy out of his head.
