A strong, hypersensitive film from the POV of a depressed woman looking for true love. A masterpiece. Difficult at first, it succeeds when the film wraps up.
In a RU-vid landscape with many video essays offering contemporary film commentary, it’s so cool to see one that actually highlights interesting stories within the history of world cinema.

I don't think that it is a improvised film and since all of Eric rohmer's film look like this you can say all of them were improvised but non of them were ,he extensively wrote every scene every word and asked them to speak just as it was written in fact every body move was scripted .
