I absolutely agree and think so too for Roland perfect to be the next Terminator if Arnold will be very busy with his governor duty. Best of luck for Roland.
Wow, what a story. Talk about determined, self motivated, and self disciplined. To bad most of us in the states don't have that kind of gumption.. including myself.
He and i were Apprentice together in Vienna. Later he went to the USA. I am Happy for its Success. That was always his dream. And always he has. He did himself.
To stop speculation (if you haven't heard by now)...Arnold's face was CGI on top of Roland's face. They used an old Terminator face cast made in alginate way back in the day from the early films, and animated it on top of Roland. Roland may be the next Terminator, but he will never replace Arnold to me. As he says: "There is only one Arnold. He helped me motivate myself." This is why I think he's not that arrogant.
Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. I know its good as it is, but I got some ideas for it IF there was a remake: The future would be set in year 2032, the present year would be modern time, The Terminator is a 850 model, Kyle Reese survives in the film, John Connor is actually seen in the future war dreams fighting against many terminators, and more. I know people would hate a remake, but this is just my thoughts for a new one.

Totally agreed Aaron. Nobody can replace Arnold. This guy is just pretty boy with a monstrous body. Arnold seemed to just ooze masculinity somehow and always seemed tough
His body looks similar to Arnold's, I didn't know the body in Terminator Salvation was real until later on when I found out it was this guy's...he wears a big ring like Arnold, has the same accent, his name is Arnold scrambled up, he even does the eyebrow thing when he talks sometimes, where it sort of raises a little but on one side lol...I like when he says 'Trust me' it reminds me of good old Arnie.
Arnold's 'tude is what got him all those wins. He was big, but there were better proportioned candidates...even Arnold himself says so. It was totally his mental game that made him unbeatable.
Linda Hamilton will do the introduction and the ending like wat she did in Terminator 2...and Arnie will do the face of the terminator and this guy Roland will do the body so basically Arnie will still be the terminator
See Arnolds run, I was in this movie as well and most of it was filmed pacific beach san Diego Cali 2004. long day shot at different days I also worked with the same company producer with couple of different movies, I was called to shot the show veronica mars but didn't .. I also moved to Cali to make and almost did, put I quick for some family reasons when I got back to WA State and reason why I didn't continue.
His facial structure resembeles Arnold, so basically what im saying is that for the next terminator film, if Arnie is not back yet, put on some sunglasses on Roland and you got yourself a perfect replica of terminator.
He'll be acting the part of the T-800 model from the 1984 Terminator movie. Give him Arnies hair do from that film, digitally alter the face slightly and if he tweaks the voice a little then he'll be a perfect copy of that Terminator! He's certainly got the body.
you have no idea, Kickinger was a monster when he competed. Not quite as balanced and symmetrical as Schwarzenegger, but much bigger. He's fucking 3 inches taller as well
they shouldnt have used arnolds face they shoulda just used this guy cause he has the look anyway for a terminator. The franchise doesnt need arnold anymore.

he sounds a lot like him but his voiced is no where near as commanding and terrifying as arnold. i dare anyone to disagree with that. he just sounds a bit wimpier... but i still think he is very good and the best choice for the new terminator

Roland is a nice guy, but there can be only one. I don't like the fact that someone is trying to copy Arnold. Arnold is the greatest, as a bodybuilder for sure, and as an actor probably one of the most legendary. This guy however will not come far if he keeps faking Arnold, he should try his own path to succes. I wish him luck.
I think this guy's body may be masucline, but he does not have a characteristic masculine face like arnold had. Although I must say Arnold had quite some plastic surgery between T1 and T2 (smaller chin etc) to look a bit 'smarter' and less like a big dumb guy. I think they did a great job. If you look at old arnold pictures where he is bodybuilding he does have a big of a dumb facial expression, to me at least. So his plastic surgery did a good job making him as well masculine and not 'dumb'
