During my trip to New Zealand, I had the pleasure of sitting down with Wētā Workshop artist Charlotte Key and concept artist Simon Lissaman about the amazing new environment collectible - The Grey Havens. One of the most iconic scenes from both the books and films, it has been replicated in incredible detail. Charlotte and Simon recount the process of creating this statue, including accessing the original bigature for reference!

Okay, I want to ask you something that has nothing to do with the Grey Havens. While everybody talks about the south and east of the Middle-earth ( I also have a teory, that there is a conection between Ungolliant, the 4 dwarf lords that still exist near the sea of Rhûn,the not completly destroyed Utumno, and the Nameless things), I am also curiuos about what is in the North. I mean, in the North of Gundabad, I know there are a lot of Mountains and there were dragons liks Smaug, smaler then Ancalagon, but what is beyonde them, and what happened in those Mountains. It simply endes, and there is the ocean? If it is like this, why nobody tried to reach Valinor from there, I mean if the world is a globe, it means the north of Middle-earth is the closest Point to Valinor. If, I am wrong, which I probably am, please tell me, or if you made a video about that, tell me how I can find it. Sorry for bothering you and also sorry for the gramar mistakes. Great job, by the way, all you video are great, and some of them make me underrstand things I didn't understood when I read the books. I respect you very much.

You can see the look of accomplishment filled with admiration in both Charlotte's and Simon's eyes at the end when you asked about their favourite feature. So endearing and fantastic to learn about these works made by such artists!

Hmmm, may have to add this to the collection. You guys have sooooo much great stuff now... Bag End is beautiful, Minas Tirith is crazy detail, Love all your statues. If you take requests :P Please make another rivendel, a Mini Helms deep, and all your 1/6th scale figures as mini figures as well :) ..... ohh, and make a complete fellowship as well in mini scale... I want to buy them before I'm to old to enjoy them lol.

I do remember your Tower of Barad Dur video where you talked of envisioning yourself scaled down to that size like you spoke of in this video. It reminds me of how I learned in the Louvre how to study a painting in its intricacies. You literally immerse yourself scaled to the size you're considering.

Ummmmmmmm the newly announced Witch King classic series by Weta on the left hand side of the table just casually sitting there even though Weta have only released two cryptic photos of a crown and a hand of their new Witch King statue upcoming !!!! Left there on purpose or being sneaky ????
