With Kiah getting her ticket for Loretta's, it's now down to the wire for Tate to get his as well... The grind began for Loretta Lynns so Team Two Two headed out to The Farm to spin some laps and hone in their skills out on the racetrack. Both Tate and Kiah pushed through their long fifteen-minute motos, and made it through the day with even more progression than what they started the day with!
Welcome to TwoTwoTV! We're the Reeds. Chad Reed is a multi-time supercross and motocross champion and the record holder for the most main event starts in AMA supercross history, with 265 starts! Ironically when Chad retired from racing, the kids decided to start. It’s a full circle movement for the Reed family. Join us as we navigate retirement and also starting again. Buddy the supermini riders are being groomed for 250cBA in that order! And 30B is light years behind the top supermini class because they are being groomed for the pros. So it makes sense is all I’m saying! We all watch the supermini top riders at Loretta’s ride in pro SX within 2 years of winning Loretta’s competitive Loretta’s !

That is funny Chad mentioned how it was back in the days I remember back in 94 we had brand new 125s 15 yrs old dropping out of school pushing our bikes to the railroad tracks and then riding the tracks to the local tracks.

Man the chadapult crash at Millville 2011 was the first race I ever watched, got me hooked and was an instant Chad reed fan, watched all the races going back to around 2005, been very cool to see your kids growing up learning to race, looking forward to seeing where each of their careers end up going, thank you for starting the RU-vid channel always a good video everytime #22

Everything and everybody has come so far. The camera and editing is epic, and the kids have done nothin but improve and show that pure, Reed talent. It's been an awesome journey watching them grow and see the next generation of future MX champions rise in the sport.

Absolutely love your channel!! You Reeds are a class act! I will never forget the night I met Chad and shook his hand at a U.S Open in Vegas.Im sure he's met millions but he is hands down my favorite rider ever and me being 58 Ive seen a few lol! Keep em comin!

@@elliereed_mrstwotwo omg that's another one 😊 You're welcome, sweet lady. My daughter has a "22" tattoo and it's due to a fond memory she has of attending the 2004 Dallas supercross with me. She was only 9 and it was just us two (I'm a single dad). She was rooting for Chad because he was "cuter than #14 Kevin Windham". Chad smoked em. A wonderful father/daughter experience and memory. So much so that she had the tattoo done many years later. Just a story for you. Maybe tell ole Chad if you get a chance 😊 keep up the good work 😊

Love to see it, Chad was a huge idol of many kids growing up and a legit champion. His kids have a the perfect coach straight from the get go. No many kids get the opportunity. When I was younger I was lucky enough get the chance to ride with him a few times at lakes and other tracks, I was a junior in the Suzuki team and sometimes we get private open days on tracks for state title training and Chad would be there getting ready to go over Europe or America again. It was a huge thing back then and use to inspire me to get faster, I was a pretty well established young racer myself with a reputation for being holeshot king, fast as hell in the junior years and nickname ‘bullet’. It’s hektik to see him happily allowing his kids to enter at their own levels. I’m sure they will end up world champions one day. On ya Chad rooting for you man , very few aussies have what it takes to get where you are in a motocross perspective, pure weapon. Most of us end up working a trade 😂

The journey is the carrot on the stick. But Loretta’s is not the end all. Well it is the end all for most- parents are broke, pressure makes kids quit ! Work on supercross skills and focus on being a supercross rider. At the professional level supercross rules .

Hey Chad & Ellie I have a question as far as for practicing like this have you guys ever thought about doing like a cardo type system in his helmet and ONLY speak thru it when telling him lap times. I assume it would be hard to control and not talk too much so maybe a pit board is what is best & what he would be used to in the pro ranks , but just curious. Feel like it would be cool to be able to talk to him , as long as a man could control what all you said and not talk much to upset concentration. Any input in this? Love the vids awesome as usual !!!

Chad take the shift lever off bike and stick it in gear and have them do a few laps in just 3rd then 4th ,then 5th ... I know you remember those early days learning what gear pulls where better , then give them the shifter back but take there seat away ... and lower the idle speed down to where it dies if their not on the gas that's the day I really learned to keep it pinned except for the 1 blip going into a turn. Watch Steve lampson back in 88 89 . Love seeing there speed increase

Just be sure they have the best motors on the track so everytime they are sure to pull the holeshot even if they get a bad drop on the gate ... that how my papa lamson porting team yamaha 125 250 490 motors back in 88 89 90 where built ...
