Women known as suffragists fought tirelessly for voting rights 104 years ago. This year, with reproductive rights being challenged nationwide, Michael George tracked down some of their descendants to see what they have to say.

Having worked in education for years was an eye opener. Not only does history and literature ignore the accomplishments of women, but especially of other ethnic backgrounds than the “Found- ing Father’s”. Education of American history should include the significance of all immigrants and also, not forget the Native Americans of this nation.

susan b anthony was a good friend of the founder of the American Red Cross, Clara Barton, and she helped start the second chapter of the Red Cross.

Look up some of the awful things Susan B. Anthony said about the Black women fighting for their rights. She told them to march at the back of the parade if they HAD to march with them.
