Here are two casting choices I am TIRED of seeing. 1)the BLACK best friend of the white lead in a predominantly white comedy or drama. 2)that one LATINA friend within a group of Black female friends in a comedy or drama. It's corny and unnecessary. I hate fake diversity. When I watched Game of Thrones, I didn't NEED to see Black people. When watched Breaking Bad I didn't miss or need a Black character. (Yes I know Giancarlo Esposito, Gus, is biracial..Black & Italian..but that wasn't important to me. A full white guy would have been fine.) Just give me an interesting and compelling story.
