The Grunge Chronicles (Part 1)

I separated the journal pages from the kit into two halves. This first part has 3 of the 5 pages, the darker pocket page is what I chose as my cover, making the two pockets my back cover.
I then decorated the front with some #timholtz Ideaology metal elements, my favorite image from “photomatic” and the two lost & found flash cards, adding some labels from the grunge chronicle kit, a couple of eyelets and a mini spanner that I used the “diy rust paste” on and I finally finished things off by adding hints of the “distressed watercolor pencil” pigment in “mermaid lagoon” and a sprinkle of black embossing powder to add a more tinted rust look.
For the interior of the journal, I have used multiple kits from VoV to collage with & adding tags, and slides all through my inner pages, stamping around them to fill up the empty spaces.
And finally, for the back, I have stacked tags, slides and photos and attached them with a paper clip. In the pockets, I’ve added two of the “Grungy Tags” from VoV and added a little ticket and a rub on that completes part 1 of the Grunge Chronicles.
