Cries in my Type 59 standard pen of 185... I know T-44 has 175 pen... but in todays "Premium tank" meta... its just laughable. Type 59 is not what it used to be either... the "armor" even the old one pre-nerf would not hold against what we have now.
@@BedanTV If you have 40 euro to buy a tank, why won't you buy another 3day premium? Just look Bourrasque,it is more gold dependent, still tons of people buy it. Why? Cuz they don't bother how many credit it can earn. The fact is if you play like a normal player (don't yolo or go snipe whole game) you can still earn credit while spamming gold and food. And the better the gun behave, the more fun you could feel.
Was actually thinking of buying this, but after seeing you guys play this thing, I choose to put my money on something more useful...like a case of beer...or Fruchtdrink.
Since Edvan was only screaming about half of the time in the gameplay clips, I believe that this tank is fairly balanced. Nice review of the tank, and the Esports commentary really made it worth watching. Are you guys going to give us a review of the Assembly shop tank? I believe this will also involve a fair bit of screaming by Edvan. Thanks for the vid AEG.
I really enjoy playing the gsor 1010. The gun is really nice. I think that the tank isn’t about the dpm. I think it’s more important to connect the shots and being able to get away easier
An important thing to note is that the wheels are static in terms of not being able to steer like an EBR. Instead, they have neutral steering and perform like tracks. The only benefit is if they get shot, they absorb the shells, but that's a massive IF because the hull is just so damn big
I personally bought this tank because of the looks like the french modern Amx 10RC witch i love the tank itself just blows up at soon as u get spotted but the sniping is very good u can also relocate very fast and i like that. And that’s all that tank is rlly Nice video guys i was hopping to have your opinion on this tank so gg
Balanced? Yes! We agree! Fun to play? Not our cup of tea. We mentioned it in the video multiple times but we feel that this tank is a regular "sniping tank" with wheels slapped on. And we didn't feel that the wheels changed the gameplay. Felt like driving any other tracked tank.
1. Edvins rant about intuition skill'; this is supposed to be the forrunner of a British wheeled vehicle branch. The crew skills will probably be shared here. You can then use GSOR 1010 as a crewtrainer. 2. the traverse speed is supposed to be this bad as it has a skidsteering traverse mechanisme (like a bobcat) instead of wheels turning like EBR.
1. True. You're right. 2. Makes sense historically maybe. But gameplay-wise the wheels are just redundant. They don't give the vehicle any unique features at all except from occassionally being able to retreat around a corner if the enemy accidentally hits a wheel instead of the tank.
@@AwesomeEpicGuysThese wheels allow you to turn while stationary, just like tracked tanks, but in ebr the situation is different, the tank cannot turn in place while stationary. that is the only positive thing about these wheels
But since they work just like tracks... what's the point of them? Nobody is actively trying to immobilize you when you play this tank. Having it function like an EBR would at least make it unique. Since it's so huge and doesn't have the top speed of the EBRs, we don't see it being op like that.
This one is nothing special at all, but at least its balanced and thats the problem, which you guys perfectly described in 56TP video - every new balanced premium has almost zero chances becoming popular, because of the BZ's, T56s, Baguets etc.
This tank feels like if Wargaming made a tank with tracks and swapped them out for wheels just before release. It has all of the downsides of wheels with no actual benefits (apart from absorbing damage with rubber, of course). It's still an interesting yet balanced vehicle so I'm all for it.
it's so sad that they couldn't just make it a MOBILE wheeled tank with bad DPM, they had to make the mobility subpar aswell, honestly just let it go 65, have great traverse but keep the gun as it is, the tank is so huge that you'll be spotted the moment you shoot anyway.
I Recommend to run Bounty vents experimental turbo and bounty or regular exhaust and play it like a single shot oversized bourrasque with better accuracy and more leopard1-like gameplay.
You literally can make it exactly that. Turbo, Rotation, and Vents. Stop using Rammer on every single tank. You are not firing within .5 seconds of every reload anyways.
@@kalashnikov1343personally I use 2 builds on it : main is vent rammer and v-stab, and the second is experimental turbo, exhaust and v-stab and this works so well. I play it like a Leopard I and it can be very dangerous because of the accuracy and consistency of its gun
Honestly the traverse speed is what kills it for me. It has good top speed, reverse speed and an okay gun, but for whatever reason it felt like an immobile brick. I sincerely hope that the Tech tree tanks won't feel the same as this premium tank.
@@PajserSR honest question: is it also realistik that it can turn on the spot? Seems a bit weird, especially because they somehow forgot to put in an animation for the wheels turning (or maybe they turn so marginally that i cant see it in videos)
It's a leopard at tier 8 but with bad traverse speed. A true sniper with not so great mobility, mediocre camo and bad armor. I think it's balanced and WG qas scared to make it stronger, so maybe in a few years it might get a little buff but not now. The Bourrasque will eat this thing alive any day. Ed: This is how premium vehicles should be, it just feels a little lackluster because we are used to broken premium tier 8 vehicles.
I disagree slightly, balanced tanks is awesome, but this tank is so average in every way, had it more alpha, or better on the move acc, or even better spotting, it wouldnt make this tank op but it would give it a crutch to rely on, which it doesnt.
@@Dutchman-2002 the point of prem tank should be slightly worse than tech tree but u get the prem bonuses and is a novel tank that tech tree counterpart does not satisfy
@@Dutchman-2002 Well this was the point of the premium tanks, a slightly worse version of the tech tree tanks, like the KV-5 or the IS-6 or even the Lowe, so you have to work harder to achieve results and benefit from that 50% bonus. The premium tanks from 2018 onwards have changed this mindset and it's really hard to revert it. This tank should have been a reward for a marathon but the 56TP was simply too recent.
@@Shiina_LORD-Scarlet.sLifeGuard yeah so basically the issue is not only wg but also the player base. ppl want balance yet they only pay for the broken ones and complain when a balanced one comes out. yes gsor should have some novel features but all i hear is bitching
I think what is being misunderstood about this vehicle is that it’s a medium, not a light tank. People see the wheels, assume EBR, and get a bad impression of the tank. The vehicle is fairly accurate to where you can play as a snipy medium. The best comparison, I would say, is the UDES 14 5.
I can't believe I'm writing this, but if this thing turns so slowly, it could actually go a little faster (by 5, maybe 10 kmph, preaiming isn't as much of a problem in case of lt wheelies, their ability to turn in place is). Or a bit more power (speeding up seems painfully slow, which in combination with weak camo makes running away after bush shot pretty hard). But overall seems balanced nicely.
i only watch your vids when there is a new tank because you guys showing the real stuff about the tanks and not only the good part! now im 100% sure that i wont buy that tank lol. but i will go for the tech tree
An idea for a STRONK GERMAN WHEELIE line in WoT: Tier 1: Sd.Kfz 222 / Fonny collector: Sd.Kfz.221 (s.Pz.B.41) Tier 2: Sd.Kfz 234/1 "Ratatata Puma" Tier 3: Sd.Kfz 234/3 "Snub-nose Puma" Tier 4: Sd.Kfz 234/2 "The actual Puma" / Fonny Collector: Pz.Sp.Wg.P204(f) KwK Tier 5: Sd.Kfz 234/4 "PAK 40 Puma" Tier 5 connects into the VK 28.01 line and with the Tier 8 light tank you can research the: Tier 9: Class 3 (P) (Battle Bus, its as big as the Maus, well almost that is) Tier 10: Radkampfwagen 90 "The RAT" (don't mistake the 90 as the caliber, this and the Class 3 (P) have the same 105mm Royal Ordnance L7 cannon as our beloved Leopard 1)
I forget who it was, but someone did some testing and found that things like IRM, Clutch Braking, and anything else that supposedly improves hull traverse, has ZERO effect on how that thing turns. It's somehow hard capped.
I never in my life would have expected so much bitching about a thoroughly balanced prem tank. "Its not like an EBR" yeah thats a good thing. "I cant circle enemies at full speed" again thats perfectly fine. Fast reverse speed, good gun and workable pen. Im beyond happy this is the route WG took with the 1010. And thats coming from an avid WG hater.
@@AwesomeEpicGuys indeed, mainly addressing every single comment to date about it not being an EBR. I just dont get the player base anymore. Also, I might add that although this is 100% an arcade game they did it right. Wheels carrier vehicles dont turn fast at all IRL, top speed is the main advantage.
I like this kind of premium tanks. Its fast it has good gun. No armor so if you are not very good you are not going to do very well. None of that ebr bs where you cant hit the thing from over 250m away and if it drives closer than that your turret or gun wont be able to keep up with it. The only way you get hit in a ebr is by bad luck or just making a big missplay as driving right infront of the gun. Also i like that this tank isnt like a bz with tier 10 turret armor. Good fun balanced tank. The he pen is the bigest disapointment. 50 pen is useless. The list of tanks that have less than 50mm effective armor that you can meet is very small.
I back to play WoT yesterday as Rex 105mm but being spotted by GSOR 1010 at edge of my view range, Rex even have better camo, view range and GSOR 1010 not even in the bush :v
« even with a rotation mechanism » it is because it doesn’t imply the wheels, with a turbo it feels better but still not great to b fair, otherwise the tank is actually fun with a brand new gameplay, not OP, not bad either, (it is rly balances for once :) !)
That's actually realistic and the reason why using tracks. Wheels have higher ground pressure than tracks and so can't move as well in muddy terrain because they sink. Just a related fun fact. An M1 Abrams has far lower ground pressure than any scout car and very similar to an infantry man.
This armored car seems pretty cool but underwhelming in terms of mobility imo. Should be way more maneuverable. I just hope the british wheeled mediums won't be this disappointing, because i'm hyped for those.
Looking at the fact that Wargaming is planning to introduce a tree of wheeled vehicles and players only have the perspective of EBR , this tank is good proof that upcoming wheeled tanks won't be overpowered or unbalanced at all. Or rather, I should say, they don't necessarily have to be unbalanced or overpowered.
This tank is a great reason to take my high-pen HE tanks out on the battlefield. I don't collect premiums, so I just see this as another $40 sink for schmucks. Unless you're getting $40 of enjoyment out of this... why bother? Hey at least it's balanced.
I agree tho, its a really fun and balanced tank to play! Had quite a bit of big games in it already. However the shell velocity on AP should be increased to at least 1000, preferably 1150 to make it a non gold spam tank (which is what I do to make it work). Besides that I love the thing, requires you to actually use your brain to perform. And not like the Bz gameplay :,)
I think this tank is a great edition to the game... For my 3 marked kpz 07 Kpz 07 3 shots this thing (with ramming) only taking 1 shot of dmg and a little ram dmg
I haven't played this tank, but I think it will suffer the Guard problem, why would I play a medium tank like a TD when I can play a real TD with better camo, pen, and accuracy lol, but that's my opinion.
I like zwatsh new hairstyle 😂 Ye the competitors is the problem why go full standard pen when prog46 can do that same shell velocity nearly same pen but the prog turns faster and has a auto reloader yes prog doesnt have 360 alpha but still cant help to compare this to prog46😢
You know it really is a boat, right? Anyone tested to see if it actually floats? I'm pretty sure this is the first amphibious tank WG has ever released.
i was watching how bad the gun was at the start and remembered that quickybaby said its one of the most consistent guns he's used. Then i also remembered he didnt fire a single round that wasnt premium
I also find this gun extremely consistent, and I fire rarely APCR (maybe 2-5 every 8 games). You just need to aim correctly your shots and take your time to make the shots count
I managed to flank an Object. 268 (that turns faster than an ISU-152) with mine without turbo, it's about technique and placement (and the TD being not very good at counter flanking)
So...I want to like this tank. It looks cool. However it seems to me that it fails to do everything. I see this tank and I think. Okay it is med with wheels so it should be fast and have good reactions. It does not. okay it is meant to snipe so the gun should have apcr with good pen and SV. It does not. It is british with a 105mm gun so it shoul have good gun stats, 390Alpha and good HE. It does not have any of those things. It ticks no boxes and has low HP to boot. So why bother? Im not saying it should have all those things, but it really should have some. A better crew layout is definately needed and it needs a buff. Also 380m view range means that you cant be an effectiv e enough scout if you need to be and that is very useful for that type of med
To be honest, wheeled tanks should be more like these british cars from the beginning which is being like this light medium, Sniping mobile campers with a bit of scouting. It would fit more the real life ones. it's retarded that they made EBRs fast like sports car, while wheeled tanks should have more ground resistance than tracked vechicles, so they can have high top speed but slow acceleration. It would make the wheeled vechicles not so agile but still being speedy if they managed to maintain the speed. The game isnt designed good for this type of vechicle anyway, maps are made from too much corridors or too small.
Honestly im starting to think someone at wg is just spamming tank without even knowing how the game mechanic works , its absolutely clear with the crew layout , you cant do anything with the crew , they are locked to this tank only
