They should've given it a tiny bit of damage reduction cutting. Like maybe 20%. There's no reason why they thought more than just 4 atk would be broken when compared to the other skills
NGL, if would actually be relevant if it dealt a little true damage instead of +4 Attack, or cut DR, I'd have probably made it directly reduce enemy DR by 20% (so a 30% DR becomes 10% DR) Nothing too wild, but they clearly wanted to be a little tame with the first ones
Funnily enough, I gave this to my vanilla Berkut and my Lena. Berkut is just one of my favorites so he gets all the shiny toys I can shove at him, but Lena? Lena's a monster. I very specifically built a +Def one with ~45 defense and a Palm Staff to be a nuisance on my (admittedly very bad) AR-D for Anima, and she is DEEPLY annoying. I love her. Thanks for the vid though, I'll have to give that Shannan build a try if I get another Caeda at some point!
Guard Echo is just straight out better than Fleeting Echo imo. It's 10% less dr but it's dual phased, it works against brave hits and it'll stop some specials from activating which will save you from even more damage, especially if the foe relies on their special to pierce through your dr (Deadeye, Lethality, L!F!Alear and the units she supports, etc).
Who i gave this to is my NY selkie, extra DR and guard are really good on her, velouria also got it but that was mainly because i foddered other stuff to her like pledge More then anything I'm just glad my selkies are free from using death blow 2
More food for my Spd Brave Dimitri, even tho hes no longer the goat omni, i cant help but believe we'll get a broken support some day that brings him back
B!Ephraim, V!Vigarde, A!Idunn and S!Seth are my initial choices to fodder it. Ephraim is one of my favorite characters in FE , Armors are my favorite move type, and Saves my favorite gimmick, so everything checks out. V!Vigarde is my powerhouse as Near Save at the moment, currently he has Fire Earth Boost in his A slot, which already give him guard, but I'm looking towards a possible build with Prime or an evolution of Svallin Shield. A!Idunn is a HF Pavise unit and currently she has Scowl in her A slot, and use Special Fighter 3 as Seal, but with Guard Echo, I can just swap it to a Breath Seal. S!Seth is one of my +10 projects, currently with Arcane Thrima, Gambit and Panic Smoke 4, Guard Echo would improve a lot his survivability.
No? The problem with lyon is blocking some way that specials proc so this helps this means his A and B are free to other things since all he was using was stances or guard 4
I kinda want to see if this would be possible in giving to B!Claude or maybe L!Seliph to assist in tanking hits and making sure things don’t just nuke so easily. But I’m still unsure if I would want to pull on the banner just yet for it or wait a bit longer.
