But he remembered all of them, he was just trying to get out of it with Aoife playing innocent! And definitely yes, very coincidental (esp. Hannah's part), but since there were hints before the reveal, it didn't catch me off guard when the characters realized their connection to him, which I think helped me enjoy it more. And I was looking for how the 4 pov's connected to him the whole time bc of the cover blurb. Pretty expertly written, I thought!
Yess completely agree with your review and rating 3.5!! I was let down at the end I wanted more… the last 100 pages is where it picks up, but still wasn’t a bad book
I feel the same! I wish things didn't puzzle piece together so cleanly (I don't think they needed to). Especially with Hannah's sister being Will's ex too. I like her shared connection with Olivia and didn't think they needed to both be connected to Will's wrongdoings to gravitate toward and support each other. Her newest book, the Paris Apartment, I think is a 5 star read however.
It's so true I read like 1/3 of the book and I just HATED reading it. I dont normally dont finish the book but this one was so slow and I just wanted to kill them myself
It was so bad and not really how I thought it would be. I thought the narrator's would be unreliable and at least a couple of them would have been kinda cruel and judgmental. Remember , it is from their internal monologue. Think about all the times a friend of yours has openly talked sh*t to you about someone else. Now imagine what they really think inside their head; probably a lot worse lol. Just felt inauthentic and the author could have really went there. The whole thing fell flat.
hahah had to watch to mayn reviews to find one I liked, and also I think imma start reading and walking outside hahaha great review cant wait to watch more.
This is definitely 3.5 for me.. it was really a bit slow for me.. more than halfway through the book they were still talking about their past traumas and experiences, wedding preparation etc.. I agree that the book was written well.. but it's just lacking a bit of action and plot twists for me.
Do not read this book !!! So bad. First of all, there is this prevailing feminist undertones from every female character's point-of-view which I found very unrealistic. Jules could have been a good Regina George. Second, It wasn't really a Whodunit. We don't find out who the victim is till the end. I feel like it should have been revealed at least half-way and had unreliable narrators. Idk I thought it was bad. A lot of potential but just straight up bad.
