Just got my GRAB bag in the mail today and I’ve been playing with it all evening. I love it, definitely my favorite off body carry bag now. The magnets are really ingenious, snug enough that it’s not gonna accidentally open and you need to open it with purpose to access your firearm. It looks bigger in the video that it is in real life which is a pleasant surprise I was afraid it would look huge but its nice and big enough that I can easily fit my sig macro w/ light and optic and 2 extra mags and orient the gun just the way I want it. One thing I did modify on the bag was removing the little pieces of fabric on the inside that prevents the bag from opening more than 90 degrees, I felt like my gun could snag on them (i have it oriented at about a 45 degree angle instead of straight vertical like in the video) and it lets me get my left arm out of the way so I don’t flag it while drawing. But such a great bag. You guys even put a handwritten note in sharpie thanking me for the purchase in the package, great personal touch. Hope y’all sell a bunch of these. Already thinking of getting my brother one for Christmas.
I need to give this bag some serious thought. I'm currently running a first-generation Viktos Upscale sling bag that has valiantly served me well these past few years, but it's showing it's age. I don't get to spend a lot of money on these things anymore, so whatever I wind up replacing it with must suffice to fit my needs and budget. I can already say that the velcro mounted inside your bag is way ahead of the Viktos sling, which has some velcro on the interior but not NEARLY enough. I'm well into my fifties and working off my gut as well, so off-body carry in a sling bag is my best solution for the foreseeable future.
will the bag stay closed if you end up having to run? looks like an awesome bag, would just be nice to see a video of someone walking around wearing it, sitting down how does it fit, running and stuff like that.
I pre-ordered one today. I like the fact that it looks like a regular regular bag and not to Tactical. I have a request. Would you possibly consider making these in a smaller package? Just for the future because I’d be interested in that as well.
What type of nylon? Is it ballistic nylon? What is your qualification for selecting nylon? Do you have an industrial engineering degree to assess the best quality of nylon?
3:05 I see that Tread Lightly boo boo kit. Where can I find one? Is it dedicated or repurposed? I assume repurposed because I can't find anything on Google with related words. What is that, can you link it, I want one
I have a similar pack, holds a little more, couple extra pockets, if you have the bag slung over your shoulder or around your back the back pocket cannot be seen from the front, I carry it unzipped so i can very easily slide my had in the pocket and get a full purchase on my handgun behind concealment … But I can see some advantage to your style, smaller and lighter, molly and Velcro on the insid would be very useful …
Hmm looking for a new bag, i live in Alaska. With my work in health care, i cant always carry on body. I work in some remote areas sometimes, as well as go out hiking, camping, fishing and other things. My vert carry pack, like yours is wearing out in that same around from rubbing. Gonna have to try out yalls bag.
Great video two thumbs up 👍👍.For me, I would not want that brown emblem that is a giveaway of what type of packet is if I already know about the pack. The finger strap will absolute guarantee what type of packet is. Make that finger strap black canvas color to blend in with no brown emblem. That would be the type of pack I would be interested.
For those that are good at profiling people, they will most likely know when one is conceal carrying either way. If they see this bag and suspect a weapon they will know that you are a potential ally or enemy.
A lot of time these off body bags become less comfortable then if I just carry aiwb. It either slides down and hits my arm over and over or I tighten it prevent any sliding and it’ll start digging into my neck
So most important question about this phenomenal bag that can’t be beaten by the mud but since it’s just a magnetic closing system why is there no way to lock it? Or to prevent it from opening ? I think y’all need to work on that. Take it to the gym sure I could lock it in a locker but things happen and people are thieves. I think it should have a locking feature. It’s seems like it’s more of a case than a bag anyways
Cordura!!! ON THE INSIDE! not the outside where it matters. But hey atleast the dirt can’t ruin it. And if you have to keep telling me everything about this bag is “the highest quality” I’m gonna start to question it. Mud is impressive though!
Most well thought out high quality bags I've found. This enables anyone to be prepared for most scenerios where you my need your weapon. So often we end up carrying our edc but we leave out tourniquet or chest seal or other items in reality we need to have on us at all times.
Wow. Impressive. Hand picked nylon that has been beat up pretty hard at work. Dirt can’t even ruin it not to mention MUD! I’m sold for sure! Can’t wait!
Long story short, no. We are currently manufactured overseas due to U.S. manufactures not wanting to work with new companies, or being unreasonable with pricing. However we are currently in the market for U.S. manufacturing. As our company grows we will have a lot more manufacturing opportunities here on U.S. soil. We thank everyone supporting us and helping us achieve this goal.
lol so only one company is ever allowed to make an edc cc fanny pack?? doesn't vertex and helicon make one too? you see in america we have this thing called capitalism and it allows us to take previously existing ideas and improve them and make money off of it. the more inventive company with the superior product wins in the end. not saying shield arms is worse or better than this, that is what the market is for.
