Fantastic film....there is no greater sight than a Springer Spaniel working the bush and field in pursuit of game. No dog does it with more flash, style, enthusiasm and never give up attitude than a Springer! Brings a smile to my face every time.
Thank you for sharing, I concur with your sentiments in regards training a Gun Dog, I was going to actually say, training with your Gun Dog, for I f have found in my experience I have only harnessed what is already there {having the foundation of investing in a well bred for the job bloodline}, and the best results have been achieved by building that bond as you become a team, cemented with that foundation of trust, understanding, and mutual respect. My Springer is that dog of a lifetime, she is always ready to work, a companion for life. I will add, that my main advice to anyone training a dog, if things go wrong, always, but always analyse yourself first, were you clear with your signal, were you stood in a suitable position to clearly transmit a command, does the exercise need more work, this analogy has never let me , or my dog down. So, id no idea what a gundog was, only heard it as part of to the late Queen Elizabeths funeral im watching as I write this comment. Good old RU-vid, never fails 2 deliver BUT this video which, was the 1st I picked has blown me away! Wow, & bloody amazing are my thoughts. The vid in its entire content from, the music, the narrative, the chosen footage, the skills of the dogs handlers & the relationship between them, all 1st class & impeccable!! Worthy of the late Queens views on gundogs as far as im concerned. Well done, loved it👍🏽
Absolutely beautiful, I am a dog owner (Springer) and have love this breed. To see this film was pure joy. the full display of these dogs and their joy in what they do for their owner is special. Thank you.
Theres something poetic about being in the woods with you your gun and your dog the gentle breez threw the trees as your walking threw the woods getting your first game of the season
Beautiful video / short film really shows what Gundog / the training and natural instinct is all about And what their job are , I’ve got a springer spaniel working type he 7 months old now and coming on brilliant just need to get him to listen to me more and understand lead work and heal but loving the adventures and training teaching me so much thank you for this inspirational video ❤️
