This video is part one of my adventures, wild camping around the west coast of Scotland, going by inflatable boat. In this episode I travel to the Island of Eigg then clamber up the Sgurr of Eigg when the winds kept me on the island
Top video donny keep the good work up coz your always amazing. But you always keep the information about every place you go and history of the places you go too what a joy to watch and learn from you. Keep it mate 👍
Im getting a bit more confident with the drone alan ..and learning how to incorporate it into the videos ..its all a school day for me again in that respect
What glorious weather we had I was there till yesterday. Did my first circumnavigation of Kerrera was tempted to go to Mull but did not want to push it after what happened to my boat at Fort William.5 hours alone in a boat takes some doing Donny hats off to you. But I was happy going up and down Lochetive and to Oban a few times to wet my feet. I am about 8 years younger Donny and I know I could not of walked to the top of the summit no matter the fantastic view. Looking forward to part 2. Thanks for sharing Ray K UK 🇬🇧 YNWA.
The guillemot you mention at 2:26 are actually Manx Shearwaters (Puffinus puffinus). They overwinter and spend most of their time off Brazil, only coming here to breed in the summer (on Rum).
Once again- great work! The scenery there is breathtaking. Just one question though- I noticed in your last few videos you’re still using your old vango banshee tent, rather thsn your new galaxy 300, any reason?
Hi captain..you will see in the new video just uploaded why Im still using the banshee ..when stopping one night there is often no space for a large tent. I do use the galaxy in part three though .. where I camp up for a week in plenty of open space..thats in the following video stiff to come :-D
Stunning video Donny. After years of promising myself a trip up north to Scotland, I finally made my first trip, 533 miles by road from the south coast of England to Oban. The weather was absolutely perfect and not one midge bite in five days 😊 Why I didn’t make this trip years ago is beyond me. What a stunning part of Scotland. Because I was travelling with four others in a pickup there was no room for my sib. Absolutely gutted not to have it. The coastline is beyond words. Thank you Donny for giving me the inspiration to make this trip. It hopefully will not be my last…
Hi 123boat.. delighted you enjoyed the video. It whole west is absolutely stunning in my opinion ..only slight inconvenience are the biting insects :-D
Great Video, only just shown up on my timeline, which i dont understand as i am subscribed (Part 2 showed up, which prompted me to look for this one first)
Plenty more drone footage in the new episode fastasfox..its great for showing off the crystal clear waters on the west coast.. especially when the sun shines on a sandy bottom.. what for the sandaig isles footage,,its something else 😀
Cracking views there Donny, well done! I imaging you will stand in m a great many other places before you return there, You're an example to us all, ignore the obvious moaning. Thanks for posting.
Thanks Ashley..yup..I listen to my body ..not to moaners comments who have no idea of what health issues I may or may not have. I confess one guy..who made too many personal comments on here in the past ..wont be able to whine again ..as his comments are now hidden for eternity :-D
That the romi studio ..delighted you enjoy the videos and hope the scenery keeps you watching them.. I dont moan about old age.. but am very aware of health issues which I dont post about as they are personal to me.
