as the title suggests, although we didn’t have too much sun… the weather is getting better which means back to much more cycling to scheveningen and kijkduin, eating out at restaurants, cooking at home, barbecues and more.
the netherlands, or even more specifically, the hague really is a different city in the summer and i’m enjoying it a lot!
started with a housewarming as most of the house renovations are finally done.
after that i’ve been hitting the gym more often lately, especially because of the fickle weather.
but whenever the sun is out, we went out cycling.
going out for dinner, it’s the first time i finally had dinner at warung lapek, an indonesian restaurant in the hague. it’s located next to grote markt and the food is really good. i do think for the price you pay the portions could be a little bigger.
also ate out at kisaan and again it’s one of the best ‘indian’ restaurants in the hague and with very decent prices and great staff.
another thing you can do in the hague, which i only did after having lived here for 9 years, is canoeing in the canals of the hague. really nice to do a trip around the hague, which takes about 1.5/2 hours and costs 25€ for 2 hours.
that’s it for this video, i did switch from weekly videos to monthly videos as it takes a lot of time to edit the videos but also because i’m taking less shots of what i’m doing.
