In the world of Naruto there exists thousands of ninja clans, however, not every clan is created equally, some are more feared than others. In the past, we've seen that fear of clans that possess kekkei genkais end up with their entire clan wiped out, as was the case with the Uchiha clan, though the Uchiha Massacre can be argued to be just as much their own fault as it was the fear of their clan's visual prowess. In the case of the Uzumaki clan, their sealing jutsu was so profound that entire nations felt threatened enough to wipe out most of the clan, destroying their village in the process. However, over in the land of water, there existed one clan whose abilities were so feared that they were labeled the cursed clan and eventually their clan was hunted down, with those who survived the kekkei genkai purge in the land of water choosing to hide their abilities in order to stay alive. This clan is the Yuki clan, better known to some fans as Haku's clan, and they are the wielders of the Ice release/Ice style kekkei genkai! In today's latest installment of the ninja clan handbook, we're going to take a look at the Yuki clan and explain everything you need to know and didn't know about why this clan was referred to as the most cursed clan in the land of water and why they have one of the saddest fates any clan has suffered in the entire series!
