Watching the video so you can see the facial expressions of the players and the DM, priceless. These guys are so good, so entertaining, so surprising. Better than any TV show.

We watch on YT. The facial expressions make it even better. Plus maps! We did download a podcast episode for a trip and it was still great. I would advocate watching in general, but so much is conveyed well that podcast listeners aren't missing out. They could just have an enhanced experience if it fits into their life!

Love y'all's series, I've got a technical question if you don't mind. I've been talking with my wife about running a game for our nieces and nephews who live on the other side of the country, but have no idea how to get that started from a technical side. Are y'all using skype for the video call and owlbear rodeo for the mapping/dice rolling parts? I want to try to figure something out thats easy enough for me and some kids 10-12 to be able to figure out and possibly have it so that if multiple kids live together they can share the device/stream. Any help is appreciated, thank y'all so much.

We use VDO Ninja + Miro, but Skype + Owlbear Rodeo will work perfectly fine for what you’re aiming to do. Any teleconferencing app will suit: Meets, Zoom, Skype, Discord, etc.

Trefko's sad monologue made me "awww" out loud. Also, to anyone on the fence about the Patreon-I joined it way back before I was even caught up on the delves and it was well worth it, even though there were some conversations I couldn't participate in. I recommend it 100%!

I was driving while listening and was laughing at the shear brilliance at the 14:00 mark that I almost rear-ended the guy in front of me. When Ted became a baboon whisperer at the 59:00 mark was awesome. "Bar is closed" and “Thatch out” What a lovely homecoming and I loved the way that Jon reminded the AV club that nothing is easy. Great episode thank you for putting this out into the world and sharing your game with all of us!

The issue of how the AV Club cleared the level of Halflings also comes down to whether the Goblins have secured the other entrances the boys and the Darlings used to get in that time. Haven’t heard much of it since then.

That was epic and hilarious, per usual. Spoiler Alert Excitement below! . . . . . . . Ted's letter idea was inspired and David's palpable excitement was hella relatable! Quite interested to know how that seed germinates. The interplay with Trefco's "conscience" was a delight and ever so clever. Matt's use of small creatures to absolutely *wreck* the place with surprise guests paid off satisfyingly. Darius is a regular Vanessa Williams- he went and saved the best (roll) for last. While Mike didn't go out in a literal blaze of glory he did get to mouth off like a badass. Lisabeth is saucy this episode and I am *here* for it! Plus, the gang made a new friend! Jon, props for the methodical increase in how exasperated Gerrilad was becoming at the escalating sh!tshow that was his level. This episode had it all. Quality fun and play here! Thank you for sharing it with us!

Allied Trefko, ruined their kitchen, killed a bunch with snakes and ghouls. Not a complete disaster like last time. Time to use him to clear out whoever Rango is to really pen Gerrilad in.
