Years later and this music video still moves me. The song is excellent on its own but this video is a total work of filmic art. The visuals in the racist host's house are incredible and chilling. So many little nods to what kind of woman she is, what her values are, in her possessions and decor. The contrast of that horrid colonialism with the gentle, familiar, warm Elder and the vibrant youths making art and dancing... It makes me tear up every time! Lido & Paz, your direction skills are legit. Miigwech!

finally the southern tribes is getting there day in the sun. the repetition is because your not trilingual. we learn Spanish and tribal they way northerners learn English and tribal. only those who are away from their tribe learn Spanish,English and tribal. most of my people don't speak English but our struggle is the same. Unite the tribes from Alaska to Chile!

This is such a beautiful, powerful collaboration. The visuals--color, costume, makeup, lighting, movement--are brilliant. I was completely sucked in Lido's stage presence and authenticity on camera. I admire her so much for standing up for marginalized groups at her shows and not being afraid to speak for them.

I love this, your work is powerful and indispensable. Can you please add credit for the visionary warrior and ancestor John Trudell, who created "We Are The Hallu Cination"? His voice is the first one we hear, as on many tracks, and I miss his credit on a few of them. I know he may not have requested this, but it is important to us as family to honor and remember him.

I dident like this at first but I like it now! I think as a fan of a tribe called red it was different from their other stuff but I'm glad I came back. also as the first generation child of immigrants this makes me think of all the hardships my parents went through so that we woudent have to go through them. they left their homes with so little, did the shittiest jobs, did not fit in ect but they did it all so that we could have better opportunities so many people fought and struggled to give other people a better chance.... to give women rights, to give people of colour rights ect ect but theres still people out there who need people to help them get their voices heard
