No cameraman is responsible for what shot (or part of the shot) makes it into the edit, and no cameraman can produce a take where 100% of the frames are usable (usually). This isn't a live scenario either, so the editor had total control over what camera to select for every single frame. There's no reason to use a camera that is setting up for a new angle at that moment unless you wanna be Mr. Fancypants-Artsy, which the editor for this video seems to be guilty of. Either that or he just made a blundering mistake, which is even worse.
Simon Vetter i've edited a video where no frames of a certain part were usefull, so that's why some parts looked weird. Editors are not completely at fault here.

Probably because the story behind it is pretty sad. A man gets strung up and tells his wife to run. After while, after his wife also dies, he tells her, to come and hang with him
The husband was hung for murders that he likely didn’t commit. He told the wife to flee, either from the law or to him. It isn’t clear in the first verse. By the end with the “necklace of rope”, the noose, you realize he’s telling her that the rebellion of stealing her own death from the tyrants who lynched him, is much more preferable than a life lived in hiding, probably being found and given a horrible death, if they didn’t keep her alive and torture her instead. The song gave the rebels the determination to be willing to die fighting the Capital in both rebellions in Panem. This is gone over in pretty great detail in the book, but it’s relatively glossed over in the movies, especially since they changed “rope” to “hope” to make it more palatable.

I really love it, the soloist has a very strong but also "fragile" voice bringing this message in such a clear atmosphere. The energy of the choir.. the soprano.. This arrangement is such a great work - everything in one: magnificent! :) :)

This is perfect the song with the video the fact that they only had there own clothes or at least no costumes on and the warmth of the color in the video goes so well with the simplicity of the song and the lead has a beautiful voice as well as the rest of the choir

I love this song because it doesn't have really high notes and even tho im a girl I can't sing high at all so with this song my two friends were the Harmonizers in the background while I sang the lead vocals for our talent show and everyone loved it. This song is so good.

Kari I didn't dislike the video, but I find the chosen vocals/notes for the choir to be very strange and not fitting. Also, they're way too loud at points, overpowering the solo singer. I just don't like this version of the song.
I find it totally amazing that this song sung by a Girl who some say couldn't sing at all has taken over the world just by the Emotion She expressed in it.
